What's fox thinking about? You can't air a show with NC-17 rating at that time. The game should be aired after dark.

It should be noted that Gujo will be poisoning the broadcast. If you get fox deportes hit the sap button for the actual talented commentary.

    I'm watching Barca-Atleti first on FSC+ because they don't run a ticker.

    Thx,

    Jay!

FWIW, I see Barca-Athletico on Deportes which is also what my guide is showing...unless you're talking about watching the delay.

Get used to him cause he will be the lead voice of the World Cup after this summer's World Cup contract with ESPN runs out. I believe it will be the Russia World Cup. He will also most likely be the lead voice of MLS on Fox. :p

Im sure this will start a world of beef but he belongs calling mls. Hes from the US so his knowledge of such things wouldnt take so long to learn.

I am watching the barca-atleti on deportes and then united-bayern on deportes. Is the fs+ commentary non gujo? Im curious to see. No spoiler on deportes thus far either.

For those of us who want to watch both matches in full without Gujo or spoilers, watch Deportes. Atleti-barca live then bayern-united right after on delay.

I'll actually say something positive about having Gus commentate a match: since I watch both matches live and have the audio on both matches (one match, Gus', at a lower volume than the other match), at times I will get immersed in the first game and its good to have Gus shout to grab my attention to the second game.

That's it. Its the only thing I can find redeeming about the guy.....:)

And then you look and realize that someone successfully passed the ball and Gujo is screaming for no reason again!

Remember GuJo will be the voice of the Champions League Final--he is Fox's "big event" soccer announcer per his contract. :)

I love Gus (for other sports, admittedly) -- it's Wynalda who I really can't take.

How bad was the commentary for tonight's Bayern v Man Utd match?

They actually call Man Utd "ManU".
"Evra the #3" scored a goal.
At 2-1 down, if "ManU" scored 1 goal, Bayern would need 2 more to advance.

Too many other gems that I can't remember. Should've written it all down.
Did they really just use a couple of commentators sitting in an L.A. studio when there are perfectly good announcers available at the stadium?

I couldn't get rid of Gus and Wynalda with the SAP for some reason and I only get Deportes in SD, so I put Atleti/Barca on the tv and went all pirate-mode to find Munich/United on my laptop. I can't put my finger on why Wynalda is so brutal. Just something about him that makes me cringe even when I agree with the point he's making.

I'm crazy, but so far in this Two-Year Cluster-f..Experiment, the Gus/Warren Barton has been the best team. Wynalda is brutal (funny thing is I sort of Enjoy him on the USMNT matches), and Ian Wright would NOT stop talking. Was there another partner with Gus? I trying to forget...

no, even worse, they spent money to fly GUJO and WINEalda to Europe so they could commentate in person.

I have some dvr scheduling conflicts this week so I can only record the fs1 or deportes version of the CL matches on tues and weds this week. As soon as anyone knows where Gujo will be shitting up the commentary can you please post it on here?
