Ehh, I'd say it's probably about 70% downstate Jewish now. There are a lot of Asians that attend the school now, and I do mean a lot. My comment was more in regards to the locals though.
I wouldn't be too proud of the fact that my party insults people of every skin color, not just certain colors.
That is why electorally your party is in a demographic tailspin that attitude will get the GOP nowhere.
Don't sell yourself short - Catholics have been offering select children free sex education classes for years!
For some reason the community isn't appreciative of the re-introduction of this particular aspect of classical Greek culture into the (post)Modern world.
For one, I don't have a party. Two, the notion that accusing someone of being racist is not an insult is absurd. I always chuckle when partisans reveal their blatant hypocrisy.
Yeah sure, except that you only kick Dems. As I wrote elsewhere, I was an independent once until I realized how that schtick goes.
Let me guess your one of those right leaning "independents" who are too embarrassed to self identify with being a republican. But you voted for Romney and McCain and for all down ballot GOP nominees. But I forgot your still an independent.
Yes from my memory. As per VFish. Although you don't post as much as him, so perhaps I could be wrong.
I call it like I see it. But I have no tolerance for race-baiting, by anyone. It's cheap, divisive, and unbecoming of someone in high office.
If somebody is a racist, that is not accusing them of being so, it is a statement of fact. But so many people have no interest in discussion what it means to be racist in the current context, which is more nuanced then it was 50 years ago. This is not to say the same racism that existed 50 years ago does not exists today - it does. But there are other forms of racism that people, who do not wish to think about, commit. But you think is it is foolish to "accuse" somebody of racism when that person may not think they are racist, because they have not been involved this the necessary discussion (or done some internal thinking).
Not just foolish. I'd say despicable. Accusing someone of racism on a hunch, a whim, or in reaction to what you think is unfair criticism is absolutely disgraceful. I'm not sure what "racism in the current context" means exactly, but if Tim Scott had criticized inner city work ethic like Paul Ryan did, would he also be considered "racist"? I have a special disdain for people who cry racism every opportunity they can. Calling someone racist has become second nature to many on the left, and I think we have become immune to how demeaning and insulting that really is.
Not what I said. What I did say - thank you for reading - is that somebody may be speaking from a position of ignrance, but may not be aware of their ignorance. In such a case, they are justly criticized and may be called a racist if that is the position they are taking. And you seem to dismiss all those claims no matter how legimate they are, simply because they are coming from the left.
