And neither one seems to think the way they treat their kids has anything to do with why they're so ********ed up. I guess maesters weren't writing parenting guides in those days.
@raza_rebel Just sent me a PM in which he spoiled the series for me. Just in case anyone was wondering what kind of person he is. @dark knight @Crimen y Castigo
Have you read the books? I don't want to forward it to you if it will ruin it for you, as well. For all I know he made all the details up.
Send it to me, I cannot be spoiled. Though come to think of it, even telling you they are not spoilers would be kind of a spoiler in itself.
5 kings. 1 kingdom to rule. Each of these kings have a legitimate reason to claim the throne. Although the number probably isn't 5 and changes quite a lot. Most important families are: Baratheons Targaryens Starks Lannisters
Doesn't mean everyone and their mother has seen it, and this isn't the Deadwood thread. Last I checked it was a no-spoilers, pretend the books don't exist, Game of Thrones discussion.
I honestly don't think that is a spoiler -- I was trying to be relatively careful about that. But your overall point is right; not for this thread. Apologies. And please do watch Deadwood; it is seriously one of the best shows ever (and I really don't think that small fact diminishes it in the least).
RESET OK -- Let's see if we can start fresh. This thread is book-free, full stop. TV series only. (And my apologies again for bringing up facts from other series.) Spoilers were in fact sent via a BS Private Conversation (previously known as PMs) -- which I think we can all agree is a pretty shitty thing to do. A forum ban for several months is now in place. My general M.O. has been to let the community sort itself out, but in this case I'll have to be more proactive. As a result, I'll be more diligent about deleting contentious posts -- contentious in tone, in personal attacks, as well as in potential spoilers or book-related digressions. As Stephen Colbert would say, Here's to a better tomorrow today, and better today tomorrow.
A ban on all book readers in this thread I say (arrangements will obviously need to be made for some sort of mind scan). Seriously though, sometimes it's what they dont say that spoils things, or when they think they are being helpful. I see many parrallels with the GOT and the TV\Book community. The TV watchers are the Starks, clearly the more noble bunch...but a little on the naive side. The Book readers are the Lannisters, more savy and clued up on whats going on....but pure Evil. Top Episode by the way.
