    Some good news from BarcaStuff:

Bartra (thigh) and Puyol (knee) will both get the medical green light this afternoon. Bartra would have biggest chance to start. [esport3]

Bartra and Puyol will have a final test during warming-up before the game tonight. If they can't play, Adriano will be centre back. [ser md]

Then he goes on to say this - more four midfielder stuff (not that we have not speculated about that ourselves seeing the tactics in past big games):
Adriano and Cesc could both start the cup final tonight. Bartra and Puyol are not fully recovered. Alexis and Pedro on the bench.

I do like this "mystery lineup" with 10 players on the pitch and an empty spot for one of three players to slot in at CB:

I will take a 70% Puyol over... well, anyone, really.

That may be how you see it, but I see the situation differently. This was an opportunity to increase the gap.

Winning the double of domestic league and European Cup in the same season
    4 - FC Barcelona (1991/92, 2005/06, 2008/09, 2010/11)
    3 - AFC Ajax (1970/71, 1971/72, 1994/95)
    3 - FC Bayern München (1973/74, 2000/01, 2012/13)
    2 - Real Madrid (1956/57, 1957/58)
    2 - Liverpool FC (1976/77, 1983/84)
    2 - Manchester United (1998/99, 2007/08)
    2 - FC Internazionale (1964/65, 2009/10)
    1 - SL Benfica (1960/61)
    1 - Hamburger SV (1982/83)
    1 - FC Steaua Bucureşti (1985/86)
    1 - FK Crvena zvezda (1990/91)
    1 - AC Milan (1993/94)
    1 - FC Porto (2003/04)

This list is one of three reasons why I want Atletico to win the CL:
    - Bayern would catch Barca on this list.
    - Chelsea have Mourinho.
    - LPB are LPB.

    Why are you pessimistic?

The league isn't over yet, R. Madrid and Atletico have pretty tough CL fixtures coming up.

    Have some faith!

Officials in Valencia decided to cut the grass as much as they can ( lowest allowed height for official games ) , guess that should help

Bartra to start , puyol on the bench.

It's not the points, its the way Barca are playing. They aren't suddenly going to run-off 5 straight wins against better teams than they've been losing to/drawing against consistently since January/February. The league is over make no mistake.

I, for one, am glad that 70% Puyol isn't playing, because I'd much rather be facing Bartra than him.

Pedro and alexis should start to cover the wings defensively and create spaces for messi to slip into , playing with cesc and neymar again just pisses me off , it's like this guy never learns and keeps playing the same thing and count on luck , well for his sake and ours hope neymar gets us enough penalties today ...
