Like I said, Angha doesn't really cut it. He's very young, but still.

holy hell schaffer......again coughs it up and leaves to a chance off the woodwork. May be a place for Nurnburg to upgrade this offseason too if that continues to be a running theme.

Not going to happen. He is our captain and has been a rock this season who has had to bail out the defense again and again.

From FC Nurnberg's Official Twitter -

Translation (I think): "The comeback is approaching. Timmy Chandler with his first exercises on the field."

Table getting miiiiiighty scary for FCN right now and there is not much time to get into their relegation playoff niche spot

Chandler has advanced to training with the ball

looks good to me. I think people understand but "parallel to/alongside/at the same time as regular team practice" just to make sure. And #glubb is the franconian dialect pronunciation of club.

An in form Chandler, working well with the USMNT is the key to success and failure at the WC.

It allows for Cameron to move centrally and gets us a darn good crosser of the ball (in the BL anyway). It means we can play a 4-3-2-1 with a counter attack element.

Is there enough time for Chandler to get called in to the pre-World Cup camp, though? Seems like there isn't much if any for him to get back on the field.

I'd love to have him healthy and in good for, but he's already missed out on a few camps where he was available and JK seemed loath to bring him in. For him to turn it around coming off an injury and force his way not only into the squad but into the starting lineup seems super unlikely. There seems to be more than meets the eyes between Timmy and JK.

    here are the quotes

March quote from Verbeek on Chandler and Hasabe: "They probably won't play anymore"

Chandler now: "I am back training to get fit again, I don't have any pain at all and feel really good on/with the ball"

The game this weekend against Bayer is to early, but "I would like to be back in the 18 against Mainz"

Would it be unfair if Shea is one of the 30 and Chandler is not?

getting pretty dicey for FCN at the bottom end of the table. They got their work cut out and they need to hope Hamburg and/or Stuttgart slip to get into their relegation playoff safety zone (for FCN, its a safety zone)

At least one very big club is going down in the bundesliga this year

Verbeek has been fired by Nurnberg. Seems a little harsh given the plethora of injuries, but they'll probably be relegated. Chandler may be in search of a new Bundesliga squad soon.
