hohoho you have a crush on your roommate in college? Wash up well in the morning lest you go to class with a string of cum on your cheek. I support you coming out butterfly!
Good for you. As a person who enjoys 'football' outside of a certain player from your home country playing for a club therefore I should only watch those matches mentality I think you'd appreciate UCL matches more because of the high level of competition and skill. History also plays a huge part too.
http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1...insmann-affecting-landon-donovan-game?cc=5901 I know that a lot of posters here like to make fun of Donovan, but honestly, he seems like a really nice guy. He seems so down to earth. I thought the way he took a break from football for a few months was a really brave decision and the way he speaks in this article shows that quality as well.
Teams in Germany (except bayern) don't spend a lot compared to what they do in England, Spain, Italy and now France with PSG and Monaco.
I see France taking Germany's spot in UEFA coefficients in a few years. Unless another petro-billionaire pops up in Germany. They're everywhere these days.
Nah, Germany will still be in 3rd spot. France might jump to 4th. That's a big IF though, as the Italian sides were still doing good in the Europa League, and Juve should do a lot better next season in the UCL.
You kidding? 3 German teams went into the knock-out stages this season, they are not losing their co-efficient anytime soon.
What are you all on about? Ok wrong choice of the word "few". I was thinking within the next 10 years. I have no doubt Ligue 1 is already stronger than the Bundesliga with two giants in the making. The Bundesliga only has one big team. The biggest reason Germany's 3rd in the coefficients is because of Moggigate. To me the Bundesliga is weak. To be brutally honest the Asians and most other players in the bundesliga wouldn't perform as well in England, Spain and Italy though I hope to be proved wrong.
The rest of L1 is pitifully poor both financially and football-wise such that all of L1 coefficients hang on those two clubs' shoulders. And the increasing tax rhetoric will only continue to compound that, and if FFP hurts PSG as badly as suggested, maybe L1 will be reduced to 1. While Dortmund may not be huge on the order of the superpowers, they are big enough and good enough to do their part to boost coefficients and if they're joined by other financially strong clubs like Wolfsburg, the odd early year out will not be a problem. As an aside, BL can't be bought by rich energy tycoons due to 50+1 rule
besides all the stuff re: finances looming over French clubs, Ligue 1 is/has been a yawn-fest. The matches tend to average .3 to .5 goals less than other major leagues. Monaco/PSG might hold it down in CL in the future but everywhere else all the talent is sold abroad. And if I'm not mistaken Europa League figures significantly in coefficient rankings. Going back a few years to before PSG started winning LOSC and Montpelier both were last in their CL groups after they won the league. They can't afford to hold on to players like Gervinho and Giroud to compete in continental competition.
