not necessarily a documentary but it's based on the true story about a Korean coach leading an East Timor team to an unprecedented Asian Youth Tournament Trophy
There will be soon...apparently the BBC will do a documentary on the original Dallas Tornado team of the old NASL. That team went on an 8 month 'World Tour' from August '67 to March '68....played 40 something games in 20 plus countries. The team is having a reunion in Dallas late May this year. A month or so ago The Guardian newspaper in England did a story on this team.

Apparently, they're not allowed to air Hillsborough in the UK. Good thing I'm a Yank. Enjoy. And let's hit up Malaysia for a bit for 'The Untold Truth About Super Mokh', about Mokhtar Dahari, considered Malaysia's greatest of all time. Part 1's here, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4.
IIRC, the Hillsborough documentary will be allowed to be shown in the UK when the (re-opened) coroner's inquest is concluded. And people should certainly watch it if they haven't. It's an exceptionally moving, powerful film.
Some documentaries not soccer related but that have a lot to do with regards to being the best in a certain field (with parallels to playing or coaching) is Somm and Jiro Dreams of Sushi, both excellent
My personal favourites are: 1) Football Fables - about what it takes for an African player to secure a move to a top European club. 2) Ginga: the soul of Brazilian football - you would be surprised how much talent goes unnoticed in Brazil. 3) Next goal wins - great documentary about the world's weakest national side: American Samoa. You can find a full list here.
