of course they win when I couldn't watch the match. I'm very happy with the 3 points though. How did they play overall? Did having Roman for a full 90 make a difference in the quality of play? 200th match for Roman at la Bombonera, by the way. That is a whole lot of memories for the home fans. Congratulations Roman!!!
He and Acosta were working the midfield and top together like father and Son if they link up more often then it would be a beautiful sight and not to mention a better season. I am hoping we pull one out against Racing especially since they are last. We need to improve
Orion and Ledesma got into a fist fight and the barra brava is at boca's training complex… Everything is going down right now
Sounds to me like Ledesma needs to find ways to actually be useful to the team, instead of making snide comments, if in fact he did make them. I was very excited to have him back, but he's been a big zero since he's been back. Having said that, I have a strong feeling that this is something insignificant being blown out of proportion.
There's no doubt the media is blowing things out of proportion a bit, but Ledesma really did make those comments I don't know how you can question them… he said them in a live press conference that was broadcast on like 5 TV channels at once- some like TN and CN5 that aren't sports channels included- and god knows how many radios… And whatever happened was obviously important enough that Riquelme held a special press conference… But you know if you've been following Argentine football long enough this stuff happens. The media loves it. As a Boca fan you should remember the Riquelme/Palermo feud no? It happens at River too, its just part of the culture of argentina and argentine football. Its a football mad country and 80% of the fans are fans of two teams… The practices of River and Boca are filmed and shown on live tv and people actually watch. Any little thing that happens is gonna be reported and going to all over TV, Radio, and Newspapers
Boca should have had this game secured by now. Argentinos played nothing, but they messed around and are on their way to losing 2 very important points.
Good result and performance last night, albeit against poor opponents. Thought Roman had an exceptional game was quality from start to when he was subbed. Martinez still worries me greatly he is excellent at getting past players but in terms of finishing, and he is a striker after all, he is woeful.
I assume some of you have been keeping up with the rumours but they are looking at some nifty add ons for June I believe. Paolo Guerrero the Peruvian is a possibility Walter Samuel is tied between Nulz and Boca he said one more year before retirement Datolo might come back and the rest sound like minor rumors to me Mouche and Cvitanich but I doubt it.
I don't know anymore. It seems that everyone who comes/comes back to Boca these days, it doesn't work out. I've been disappointed far too many times. Would love to get any of those guys, but I tamper my excitement.
Gago is out for the rest of the tournament http://www.ole.com.ar/boca-juniors/futbol/Gago-llego-Final_0_1120088240.html Good news or bad news for boca? Gago has been pretty damn awful, but he's an important player for you if he plays to his potential
I have unfortunately had to deal with real life that past couple of months so being able to catch all the Boca matches has been nothing shy of a pain in the ass. Definitely not the torneo I was hoping for but in the respect that we haven't been giving up some of the silly goals we had I have a little bit of hope left. Of course seeing the two recent golazos of Roman really helps.
Is it possible that Martinez has made a vow to not score for Boca? Insua is a stud. I wouldn't mind him getting a look at the NT.
