Read that. Should be interesting to see who will pick him up. For a 1 year coach, Chip has got a pretty good reputation already, so many teams will be cautious. The Raiders seems to be the "perfect" for for him.....
It's pathetic seeing the DC sports media trying to be the first one to break the DJax to Skins news. One person claims they've heard it's a done deal and then the rest shoot it down and then it repeats again.
Yea but most reporters just guess, I even think people like Rappaport and Adam Schefter guess quite a bit. Although I would expect a radio show host or beat writer from Dc to at least know someone in the front office.
For me it has felt like they never had a true plan and a list of guys they wanted. I could feel the panic coming from the organization after day 1.. The Jason Hatcher signing was pretty forced and desperate, I would be surprised if he was one of the players they originally targeted. I just think they are signing players just to sign players with no long term outlook. I'm not a huge fan of signing a lot of players in free agency but if you have to do it go about it like Tampa or Jax. I love my veterans as much as anyone but signing these 30 plus free agents is dumb unless it is an elite player or a guy who can take you over the hump.
This post is dedicated to @NotreDameFlamengo and the Iggles DBs. IT'S OFFICIAL: 3-time Pro Bowl WR DeSean Jackson (@DeseanJackson10) signs his contract at #Redskins Park pic.twitter.com/LB42RM2vSN— Washington Commanders (@Commanders) April 2, 2014
Redskins sign WR DeSean Jackson (3 year, $24M; $16M guaranteed): C Grade The Redskins have had a dubious offseason thus far. They've signed bums like Shawn Lauvao and Tracy Porter to contracts containing money far more than what they are worth. The DeSean Jackson signing may appease some of the fans well aware that their team wildly overspent for backup-caliber players, but this won't make things any better. Jackson is perennially one of the most overrated players in the NFL. His unknown gang affiliations aside, Jackson is constantly banged up and not playing at 100 percent. When he's on the field, he's just a one-trick pony. Granted, he does that one trick very well, but he needs to be healthy to do it, and that's not a usual thing. Also, Jackson is a major headache in the locker room. There's a reason several Philadelphia players have been vocal about being thrilled that "MeSean" is now off their team. This money is way too much for Jackson. He's not going to perform up to his supposed ability. He's not going to stay healthy. He's going to cause havoc in the locker room at some point. And as with Donovan McNabb and Jeremiah Trotter, this will end up as yet another failed Washington acquisition of a former Eagle. Sounds like Lawson writing about our FA and me about DeSean. Oh, and ND's negative tone.
Well I can't think of more than 5 guys i'd rather have on 9 route than Desean Jackson but I feel the same sentiments. Him and Pierre Garcon should be fire though especially since I like Jordan Reed.
I need to see him perform in B&G. I could care less what he did for the Iggles. We did need a legit deep threat, so I'll be hoping for that.
Eu troquei camisa com o quarterback da @nfl e @colts Andrew Luck. Prazer em te conhecer. pic.twitter.com/hJV2Fg0Ld2— Dante Bonfim Costa (@dante_bonfim) April 8, 2014
I'm guessing Luck went to Germany. Didn't he spend some time there as a kid because he did played there?
Do you like Rafael Bush? I was hoping minny would sign him, I was surprised to see you guys match Atlanta's offer sheet. I saw him have really nice games against the Bills and Bucs last year and now I just read Rob Ryan might be using a lot of 3 safetey sets haha.
Yea I was just having this discussion with someone last night. Raphael Bush a beast, people be sleeping on him, def not scared to hit and make his presence felt. If and when Kenny gets grounded havin Bush around would be great.
