Diego Alonso replaces "Ojitos" Meza. Alonso is a former Uruguayan player. He used to play for Pumas. He's the cousin of former Toluca player, Iván Alonso. While Alonso might have a vague knowledge from his spell at Pumas, historically not many foreign coaches have done so great for Pachuca. Mexican coaches have actually being more successful than foreigners (Javier Aguirre, Alfredo Tena, Enrique Meza.) It's a bad move by Jesus Martinez. The guy is young and has no resume. If he struggles at any phase of the season, expect the youth momentum to slow down, as is usually the case when a team does badly. Dreadful ********ing move by the club.
