They made too many 'signings for the future', I think.

Honestly, I see the same shit in a different season. They get rid of half the squad, bring in 5-6 new starters and expect to gain something that way. Hasn't worked in years.

Diego Alonso replaces "Ojitos" Meza. Alonso is a former Uruguayan player. He used to play for Pumas. He's the cousin of former Toluca player, Iván Alonso. While Alonso might have a vague knowledge from his spell at Pumas, historically not many foreign coaches have done so great for Pachuca. Mexican coaches have actually being more successful than foreigners (Javier Aguirre, Alfredo Tena, Enrique Meza.)

Let's hope the best for Alonso and he can continue help the young players to develop.

It's a bad move by Jesus Martinez. The guy is young and has no resume. If he struggles at any phase of the season, expect the youth momentum to slow down, as is usually the case when a team does badly. Dreadful ********ing move by the club.
