Found this on smh.com ---------- Remember the days the Australian cricket team was so dominant they could invite an Australia A side to feature in a one-day tri-series with some poor nation that would get thumped by both? The way the Maroons are going, perhaps State of Origin needs to invite Queensland A to feature in next year's series. Here is a team of Queenslanders who did not feature in game one on Wednesday night - could you guarantee NSW would beat them? 1. Matt Bowen 2. Lote Tuqiri 3. Brent Tate 4. Justin Hodges 5. Rhys Wesser 6. Mat Rogers 7. Scott Prince 8. Steve Price 9. Cameron Smith 10. Ben Hannant 11. Michael Crocker 12. Ben Te'o 13. Corey Parker. Interchange: 14. David Stagg 15. Scott Bolton 16. Antonio Kaufusi 17. Ben Lowe. ----------
---------- AH, STATE of Origin. Toughest arena in sport. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. Sorts the men from the boys. Apparently. If the bitching and moaning from the other side of the Queensland border is any indication, it has gone disturbingly soft. Please. Pass them the tissues. Now, wipe the tears . . . ---------- http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/queensland-bleat-about-state-of-origin-fireworks/story-e6frexv9-1225751176674
BrisVegas ---------- Bris Vegas, is a name given to the Australian city of Brisbane in Queensland. The name has also been attributed to the city's nightlife, relatively compact size of the central business district and previous lack of sophistication when compared with more populated Australian cities ---------- :D
