LA FURIA ROJA 1881 (THE RED FURY 1881) is a Phoenix soccer supporters group. We are LFR. We are LIFERs. ut terminus.

History: When the founders decided to create a supporter's group for a potential Phoenix pro soccer club, we decided that the group's main color is red. We held a Facebook poll, which included five options, to decide on the group's name. Over 35 people voted. "La Furia Roja 1881 / The Red Fury 1881" won by a landslide.

If you wish to join our group, simply like our page and we'll friend you and add you to our Facebook closed group where we discuss all things LFR and Phoenix pro soccer.

We have regular gatherings at our Phoenix home bar (16th St. Sports Bar & Grill) to watch soccer, hang out, hold FIFA12 video games and get stupid as usual.

LFR1881 aim to provide enthusiastic support, create a unique sports experience, chant, sing and cheer for 90+ minutes of game action.

LFR1881 aim to create a distinctive atmosphere, motivate our team, intimidate opposing players and challenge the efforts of rival supporters.

LFR1881 is run independently of any Phoenix soccer team.

LFR1881 are not hooligans and do not condone hooliganism.
LFR1881 abides by a code of conduct:

-- Cheer, sing, and otherwise support the team while remaining (somewhat) respectful and courteous to fellow patrons, referees, opposing team fans and players.

-- Enjoy the soccer experience free from fighting, thrown objects, attempts to enter the playing field and (somewhat) disorderly behavior, including foul, sexist, racial, obscene or abusive language or gestures.

-- Comply with requests from stadium staff regarding stadium policies and emergency response procedures.

-- Consume alcoholic beverages in a (somewhat) responsible manner and only by those of legal age.

-- Conduct in a lawful manner to avoid incidents in the stadium and in the parking lots.

-- Be the greatest soccer supporters group on earth.
