Thanks for the points deathstar. The topic was deleted but I guess you must have read it. Just wanted to give the posters a quick history lesson which quieted them somewhat.
At the beginning of the World Cup I did a search for an avatar image that would show some support for Africa in general without seeming too pandering. I actually found this image on a British history site. Shortly afterward I noticed that there is at least one other person on this site who found an image of the same boy with a Mexican flag super-imposed over his face. Now if you do a Google search for "Image: Duncan Walker" you'll find many versions of the same face with many different flags. I believe that the Africa image seems to be the original and the flags were likely photoshopped changes, but it's clear that the possibilities are endless.
