Well guys, the game of the season until now is just few days away. We are all super excited, and the players are also. Game is played in London, on the emirates stadium. Wednesday, 2.45 ET as always. :)

Our most probable line up, though you never know.

    -Neuer-
    -Rafinha-Boateng-Dante-Alaba-
    -Lahm-
    -Robben-Kroos-Thiago-Goetze-
    -Mandzukic-

Lets show up the world who is the best team at the moment. That last year Arsenal win was just pure luck.

I will contact the moderators immediately as I feel that the Bayern logo is far too small

Something else is also way too small, and you don't contact anyone. :cautious:

We have an excellent coach in Guardiola

They have Ozil. What threat could he pose if we maintain possession?

A 2-0 or 2-1 our favour would be a nice result that could secure us into the quater finals

Whats the consensus? Are we considered one of the top 3 of Europe and is a 2-1 too much to ask for?

    DISCLAIMER

WE NEED TO GET heynckes OUT OF RETIREMENT AND MAKE HIM AS THE NEXT COACH OF THE GERMAN NATIONAL TEAM

    MY DECISION IS FINAL

With all due respect to Arsenal, there's no reason why we shouldn't win this. especially with an in-form Götze feeding an in-form Mandzukic.

Not to mention our newest Torjäger, Dante.

It'll be interesting to see who Arsenal start in their FA Cup match against Liverpool (11:00 EST for those who want to watch).

A little nervous about this one..

It's hard predicting what could happen in football because sometimes things don't bounce your way and you find yourself down 3-0..

So I am more concerned with Lady Luck screwing us then I am about arsenal destroying us by their ability.,

I really hope for a good display and I want to erase that stupid 2nd leg game from being mentioned by their English broadcasters ever again..

No, but he did say this: "Wilshere is a top player. He is an excellent player, not just Arsenal, but also for the national team. But he is lucky because we have many players in the second team like him but he plays because there is no pressure at his club to win titles."

The Internet and journalists, as usual, twisted his words to make it more controversial.

Wilshere was probably much younger when Guardiola said this and Thiago might have been the guy in the 2nd team Guardiola was referring to. :)

Lineup pretty much picks itself. Strong bench too with Schweinsteiger, Martinez, Muller, and Pizarro on there.

    1-3 Bayern again.

Arsenal played well today against Liverpool and rested a couple of starters.I think Arsenal will play defensively and will be tough to break down for us.There will be dangerous on counters and Neuer and co have to be very sharp.I expect us to dominate possession but will struggle to create 100% chances and the match will end up in a grind fest and both teams will neutralize each other a little bit and especially Arsenal will try not to lose the first leg again.Prediction 1-1 or 2-2.

Arsenal are not the grittiest defensive team..

If I had to pick between Arsene arsenal and mou Chelsea. I would rather play arsenal any day of the week.

Chelsea can play some really gritty hack and slash mou style team defending..

I can't see arsenal doing that

Hopefully Neuer has his head out of his ass this tie, he gifted them two goals last season.

The most stupid goal of the UCL last year.. A phantom corner kick that resulted in a ball bounce into the box with neuer standing like a statue and a header from podolski...

they are not quite like Chelsea but they have improved their transitioning and have the last time I checked the best or the second best defensive record in the Premier league. They parked the bus Chelsea style in the return leg last year.I would prefer also Arsenal because Chelsea and Mourinho have no class and are too dirty but you dont have to be filthy in order to have a reliable defensive unit!

Maybe the first goal but everyone was sleeping there and it was more like a miscommunication and the goal was illegal anyway because it was not a corner in the first place! In the secound match Alaba slipped and Van Buyten struggled to get back quickly(a little bit fluky that goal) and the last goal was more the fault of Javi who didnt close down their player properly. For that Neuer was heroic against Juve(pirlo freekick!) and in the final he was man of the match and singlehandedly kept us in the game against Dortmund who were outclassing us.

I didn't see a good Arsenal performance today. I just saw them getting dominated by Liverpool again from start to finish and struggling with their pace once more, only the bad finishing from Sturridge let Arsenal off the hook today.

They won't have Arteta in midweek either and Giroud will be back in which will probably slow them down in attack a lot. As long as we don't do anything stupid at the back, we should be fine and get a win there. I'm confident about our chances.
