Cause God knows if the Crew try and stream it, you'll be staring at Cody's default screen saver for 90 minutes while the monkey's in the backroom scream at the nuts and bolts trying to turn them with bananas.
I am in need of some BS help. I put together this 2014 Crew Schedule/Wallpaper, and could use a few sets of eyes to look it over for any errors, omissions or suggestions. Feel free to use it if you like. Thanks!
Pretty sweet job on this. It should also let you know when the Crew has officially been eliminated from the playoffs. I'd say about the 530 on your clock.
Given the early season matchups with DCU, Philly, and TFC, we should know where we stand pretty soon. If we win those 3 games we can hang around most of the year and should finish above the bottom. If we lose those 3, it will be a long year.
Looks really nice, will have to resize in Photoshop to 1920x1080 resolution since when I use the windows 7 settings it comes out a bit aliased.
No real news from thecrew.com articles, but it seems they are posting articles each day about the training sessions: http://www.thecrew.com/preseason/news/2014/01/2014-preseason-bradenton-day-1 http://www.thecrew.com/preseason/news/2014/01/2014-preseason-bradenton-day-2 http://www.thecrew.com/preseason/news/2014/01/2014-preseason-bradenton-day-3 Looks like Frankie has some input with the coaching staff, or is being told that the espresso machine is "waaaaaay over there dude." From what Barson has said it seems like a lot of the Columbus based guys did quite a bit to stay fit and improve themselves during the offseason. Good to know at least Chad wasn't satisfied with just getting a contract and making 19 appearances. He wants to improve and is willing to put in the work to do so. Shows a good professional attitude. Gregg is quoted about implementing the way they want to play the game. He's seemed to have a good grasp of both having ideas about what he wants and understanding that compromise will be needed to best fit those ideas to the skillset available in his players.
Our first preseason game vs. Malmo is going to be streamed on mlsnet. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...occercom-partners-stream-more-25-matches-live
I'm expecting there to be a 2nd game in Bradenton against FC Dallas as the Bradenton schedule said that all FC Dallas games were yet to be announced and we only have one game scheduled there thus far. EDIT: NEVERMIND. SEE BELOW.
Full schedule here http://www.mlssoccer.com/preseason/2014/club-schedules We supposedly played Toronto today.
Schedule per mlssoccer.com: 1/29 - Toronto FC - Bradenton, Fla. - ? 2/1 - IMG College or U17s - Bradenton, Fla. - ? 2/5 - Malmo FF - Bradenton, Fla. - 6:30 PM 2/19 - Toronto FC - Kissimmee, Fla. - 1:00 PM 2/22 - Philadelphia Union - Kissimmee, Fla. - 1:00 PM 2/26 - Orlando City SC - Kissimmee, Fla. - 6:00 PM 3/1 - Championship/Consolation - Kissimmee, Fla. - 1:00 (7th), 3:00 (5th), 6:00 (3rd), 8:00 (Champ) Potential Opponents on 3/1 - New York Red Bulls - Sporting Kansas City - Montreal Impact - Fluminense FC
Ben Sweat and some trialist named "Warzycha" or something unleashed vicious tackles on investments Defoe and Bradley, so everything's being scrubbed from the record fast enough to make a Columbus public school principal gasp.
I wonder why Disney won't be streaming all the games like last year? So we only get to watch one pre-season game.
