According to a Twitter post by Frank Stranzl, these guys are in camp as trialists:

Not if Andreas turns out better than Beita...

(though he's 31 and has only two goals to his career, so I guess that's a long shot)

It's mainly the age that has dimmed my hopes, not his experience.

he's been playing in the german 2nd division the last 4 years. not necessarily a bad thing... stewart was bouncing around the lower levels and worked out for us. (sercan though.. did not).

Looks like a decent group. If we were counting on any of these guys to contribute, they wouldnt be trialists.

We arent looking for an all star here either, someone who could eat minutes and give solid effort as a trialist is a good get. B2 is a decent level, if hes still got enough legs to hold his own, and is more looking to get a green card then anything else, he would be a good get.

@NakamuraBhoys I like you. Your logical and optimistic (which is a good combo) dont let the haters stop that. Positivity is refreshing in this site.

The age of 31 for most soccer players is usually considered the beginning of the end. I know there are some old guys who make it beyond the age of 30 but its rare and usually the great ones are the only ones who can play beyond 30-33 years of age. Maybe a GK or a defender can hang on longer but for mids, its brutal to keep playing at that point. In MLS I'm sure most older Euros and South Americans can keep playing on after 30, relying solely on their experience but those players are usually above MLS level quality players.

Sanchez and Lima were great finds. Lima was a real difference maker and I have no idea how Sanchez got into the dog house.
