Agudelo got subbed on at the 58th minute. He played fine, he had a nice run that ended up with him basically going "YOLO" and shooting from 30 yards out and putting it over the net by about 25 feet. Utrecht did not play well, they did a lot of hoofing for the last 15 minutes, but Juan won a few headers.

Here are another few noticeable plays by him.

I know the defending isn't the greatest in the Dutch league, but some of the things he tries are a nightmare for any defender to mark.

He is a very active player who always has an impact on the game.

In Stoke forward news, we look like we're swapping Jones for Odemwingie. That leaves us with two forwards in their 30s and a loanee. Definitely a window for Juan next season if he gets the permit

If Juan stays healthy and gets a nice run of games he'll be knocking on the Brazil door.

can't decide which of the 2 is less reliable or disloyal.

I dont really understand it. Essentially we appear to be swapping one lazy, inconsistent, disloyal idiot for a slightly older one.

I think the thinking is Odemwingie can also play on the wing

Agudelo is sort of a prodigy in the air with his knock downs and flick on's.

That should serve him well if he ever gets to play in the epl.

As horrendous as that shot was, I just like the fact that there's another American player willing to "try sh**."

Odemwingie is older the Kenwyne Jones? Feels like Jones has been around forever

He's certaintly got around. I remember he did score quite a bit for Sunderland. Shame he never brought that form to T&T

It has to be as wing. I was thinking this didn't bode particularly well for Shea.

Agudelo is pretty good in the air and is pretty physical, but just because he heads it and the ball lands in the vicinity of another player does not mean he is great at flicking it on or knocking the ball down.

Any point guard can throw a ball in the vicinity of Dwight Howard and get an alley oop. It doesn't mean the point guard is a great passer.

It's not the first time he's shown well in this area.

From those little clips, it seems he just needs time to get used to the style of play. He has the give and go in him to excel in Holland.

He was tailor-made for a league like this...and I see him doing as well as Aron within the next couple of months.

Haha isn't it problematic for a player to endorse this stuff?

Does anyone have a good idea if Agudelo is going to be starting tomorrow? The game is at 6:30 AM EST. I would wake up to watch him play, but I would not be a happy camper if I wake up to see him on the bench.
