After the Ghelyon Gate incident. We lost our good manager and two or top goal scorers. The new team could even beat Australia and drew with Japan.

Do you see any hope for this team to advance? How about Sadeghian and Mosalman? Are they going to be invited to the NT?

The U22 team was doomed from the start, because it was patched together in last week, after the IPL demanded the key players back. On top of being managed by a new coach, after resignation of Mansourian.

In any case, this tournament is not vital. But obviously its still cause for worry how this whole thing went down.
I cant say Im optimistic for next edition (Olympic qualifiers), given the disorganization and unproffesionalism.

The half suspended team with an interim coach

    Iran 3-3 Japan

Iran 0-1 Australia ==> Iran dominated the game but lack of good forward (suspended by IFF "Sadeghian and Mosalman" or showered by yellow cards by Arab referee in last match "Rezaei") made it hard to score

Iran 3-1 Kuwait ==> a weak and disabled Iranian team beating Kuwait.
