From the perspective of scheduling dates, this may be the easiest month as it is only Serie A and there are no mid-week fixtures. I am not sure if we would see any Coppa matches in January. Now that I check the Lega site, we will play the winner of Roma/Samp on the 21st. So we will see one of them twice in the same month, possibly Sampdoria twice in the same week. Big game this Sunday no doubt. Playing at Cagliari is not easy but seems like they have hit a low. Hopefully Conte will have i ragazzi at full charge as we have come out sluggish the last two seasons after the new year. If we keep the streak going, we pretty much will have full control of the scudetto. If not, then it makes for an interesting second half. A draw Sunday against Roma makes us campione d'inverno, which means little other than put a psychological pounding on our rivals & their tifosi.

    Serie A Fixtures for January
    • 05 January - Roma
    • 12 January at Cagliari
    • 18 January - Sampdoria
    • 25 January at Lazio
    Coppa Italia Fixtures for January
    • 21 January at Roma/Sampdoria

Any result on Sunday makes us campion d'inverno. There's no way Roma can catch up to us.

We are only up 5 points & there are two match days to play still. It is not in the bag yet.

Oh we have Cagliari, I forgot about them. I was thinking Roma was the last game of the first half.

we need to beat roma and go ahead by 8 points so we can concentrate more on winning Europa. its the best we can do to save some face after the embarrasing CL exit.

After all it did happen to chelsea and they redeemed themselves a little. i dont see why we shouldnt be able to win EL

    may the best team win.

I laugh at the thought of how butthurt your little Roma buddies would get if one of us were to go over to your board and try to start a football conversation, let alone make a statement like yours. Any thoughts on the game? I've not really watched Roma too much this season.

Inferiority complex. A decade of losing does that. Not to mention the recent smashing.

We (Samp) are much tougher to beat now after our shambolic start, and by the end of the month Lazio may have righted themselves also - there is no reason they should be so awful. I would say this is a tricky slate of matches, and Juve has been shaky in recent Januaries. You guys better stay focused or there will be some trap games.

Totti is already making excuses, saying we always have that extra little bit of "help." Is it any wonder then why their fans are such conspiracy-mongering little bitches? They can't ever recognize that we are just better than them.

According to that diving scumbag Totti, Roma is better than Juve individually. LOL when this is on your team...

We all know who Totti is. No need to get all riled up. He is one of the most overrated Italian players in history, having only ever won one title despite the accolades. He never produced for the national team. He is a hero only in the eyes of the delusional Roma support.

Milan did the same thing last year and got a phantom PK. Rizzoli was the ref.

I suspect that Llorente will be too much for the Roma defense to handle.
