From the perspective of scheduling dates, this may be the easiest month as it is only Serie A and there are no mid-week fixtures. I am not sure if we would see any Coppa matches in January. Now that I check the Lega site, we will play the winner of Roma/Samp on the 21st. So we will see one of them twice in the same month, possibly Sampdoria twice in the same week. Big game this Sunday no doubt. Playing at Cagliari is not easy but seems like they have hit a low. Hopefully Conte will have i ragazzi at full charge as we have come out sluggish the last two seasons after the new year. If we keep the streak going, we pretty much will have full control of the scudetto. If not, then it makes for an interesting second half. A draw Sunday against Roma makes us campione d'inverno, which means little other than put a psychological pounding on our rivals & their tifosi. We (Samp) are much tougher to beat now after our shambolic start, and by the end of the month Lazio may have righted themselves also - there is no reason they should be so awful. I would say this is a tricky slate of matches, and Juve has been shaky in recent Januaries. You guys better stay focused or there will be some trap games.
