Would it be a pro or a con to have Portugal and Argentina meet in the group phase?

More missed stadium deadlines. Those white elephants don't build themselves.

Was always gonna happen. Some of these have been shambles.

The best part is that these stadiums will sit empty for years down the line.

They'll all be ready in time for kickoff, but it is pretty embarrassing that they aren't ready yet.

Major sporting events are a huge waste of money and resources. There is no getting around that. Just look at the Sochi Olympics, which are already the most expensive of all-time. The 2014 Winter Olympics are more expensive than the 2008 Beijing Summer Games. That is wild.

I wouldnt sleep on Italy, with Pirlo, Balotelli and Rossi. Pirlo literally turns this very average team into finalist.

Apparently best case scenario for USA is Algeria, Switzerland and Croatia.

It's never wise to sleep on Italy. I'm always conflicted when it comes to them, because I generally enjoy their players but their fans are next level awful.
