Worth including all the retirees and end of season releases that went un-tracked. This article says Greg Jordan is out of Philly. http://www.phillysoccerpage.net/2013/11/11/john-hackworth-lays-out-his-postseason-plans/ Chris Albright also retired.
Official word on Husidic - http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...er-fire-midfielder-baggio-husidic-re-sign-vet
Here's the tally so far, not including Greg Jordan, who hasn't been officially released yet (but probably will be shortly). Well, Nesta retiring should overshadow Albright, should it not? Though it can't be finalized until rosters are unfreezed, word around campfire is that Crew have singed Costa Rican LB Waylon Francis: http://www.dispatch.com/content/blogs/covering-the-crew/2013/11/francis.html
Kevin Hartman retires. http://www.newyorkredbulls.com/news...goalkeeper-kevin-hartman-announces-retirement
Updated and corrected. I've also added Agudelo, since it's been confirmed that his MLS contract has expired and he hasn't resigned with the league. http://m.revolutionsoccer.net/news/...ns-11-players-2014-roster-currently-stands-15 NE got close: I believe they released 3 outright and declined options on 9 other players today.
They already paid for him, and he's on WC roster where he'll get exposure ahead of the transfer window. No sense releasing a player like that that could net a team a transfer fee.
The Crew declined options on Drew Beckie, Glauber, Kyle Hyland, Danny O’Rourke, Konrad Warzycha and Jairo Arrieta. http://www.thecrew.com/news/2013/11/crew-exercises-options-contracts-14-players
And picked up options on everyone else on last year's roster, save the retired Gaven, the already waived Sanchez and Horton, the already under contract Marshall, Trapp, Viana, and Higuain, and the three players they are currently in negotiations with (Gruenebaum, Williams, Oduro).
According to Ives, FCD has declined their option on David Ferreira. That may be the first domino to fall in a very eventful offseason for FCD rosterwise. http://www.bigdsoccer.com/2013/11/22/5134548/david-ferreiras-option-has-been-declined-fc-dallas
Arrieta may not be out for long. He tweeted himself that they are working on a new deal and he hopes to be back in Columbus next year.
