Does your account say the charge is pending or "Request status: pending". I have a FIFA charge on my credit card statement, but nothing on my FIFA account just yet.

 

Good point. No point in me staying up as I clearly have final tickets and England will of course make it that far.

I just got a $440 charge on one of the cards I used to apply ( haven't checked the other two yet). That was out of a total of around $6000 worth of tickets with some being in natal Salvador and forta however a lot being for games high in demand.

Do we think it's possible they will do an initial round of charges for tickets not subject to a lottery then another round for ones which are?

It's just that although we haven't got official emails, no one thinks they have Rio tickets as yet, and the amounts they quoted for people who have been charged seem to match up with that given probability etc.

Although there is lower probability of people getting Rio/SP/BH etc tickets the absolute number of tickets is greater so we should have had a result in that regard by now. Maybe FIFA are trying to get one set of credit card proceedings out of the way. That's my best guess.

 

No idea, I was just doing the math in my head and playing the odds that Rio would be massively over subscribed.

 

A lot of the tickets people have been charged for this far have been tickets with at least yellow demand so there should still have been a draw?

 

I've applied for Rio de Janeiro Venue Series, Match 23 - D1 v D3 - Sao Paulo and Match 15 - H1 v H2 - Belo Horizonte in Category 2

I was charged already for the Total Ammount in my CC (I'm not 100% sure because I paid in mexican pesos), but doing the math, at least I have the Rio Venue Series and one extra game.

 

I have just been charged for my entire aplication but haven´t received any email or SMS confirmation yet. It´s 3 tickets for matches 39 (natal), 45&52 (Recife) and 56&59 (Salvador). I tried to apply for tickets with lower demand because for Germany and South Africa I didn´t get any and I think it worked!!! It´s 1 grup stage, 3 R16 and 1 R8. Good enough for me going from Guatemala!!!!!

 

Is anyone still waiting for a charge?

Across three separate credit cards registered to three separate addresses and with three different passport numbers, I've only got $440 out of $6000 from one card and 0 out of $9000 in the other cards

WARNING TO ANYONE THAT USED A CAPITAL ONE CREDIT CARD! Some people on tripadvisor are reporting that capital one automatically rejected the charge as a suspicous transaction, I called to warn them not to reject it.

Still waiting... 2 recife matches, 2 sao paulo, 2 rio, and the final. Eyes are glued to the screen, checking smart phone every 5 minutes, email alerts etc. Joined this forum just now to post this.... UUGGHHHHHH!!!!!

Oh by the way, the guy on here who got tickets to 5 games, no offense, but I hate you.

Just saw the charge on my card from FIFA. Looks like I got 2 games out of 4 in Brasilia.

 

I was victim of a cc fraud. What do you think, is there any chance to have a sucessful application?

 

Still can not find the name of FIFA on my CC account statement. But it seems that someone has reserved its credit about USD6000. It is almost equal to my application, TST7 Cat1 x 2 persons.

see this wouldn't happen to me if they didn't only take visa and accepted mastercard, discover, amex anything but visa.

 

Indeed mate,it will end up like Ukraine,I got chubbed for zero tickets out of five applications.
In the end people were lighting cigarettes with final tickets in Kiev.

 

all my australian friends on Facebook are getting money taken out of their account.

 

Once the dust settles we should see also if the category 2 tickets went just to people who applied for them, or if it also went to people who applied for cat 1 but didn't get them.

Will be mega annoyed if this is the case, and also will mean I blanket category 1 apply to everything in phase 2.

 

I'm still waiting. Nothing so far. $0 out of ~$4500. I applied only for games in the NorthEast: Mostly Natal, plus one each in Fortaleza, Recife and Salvador.

 

Japan TST7. It was "low demand" even just before closing application window.

 

Fifa charged my card for the full amount! 3 matches in Recife. Still no email and no change on my FIFA Ticket Account.

 

i applied for USA TST7 and still have no charge :/ i think i played my cards wrong :/
