Pretty self explanatory and hopefully easy to understand for those of us who can become befuddled too readily. :p

I'm interested to see how Assaidi does at Stoke City. I've been watching the match today against WHU and he has started on the bench. Stoke are definitely playing differently under Hughes so perhaps he'll actually get to show what he can do.

Was Pacheco's loan a potential permanent move or is he out of contract at the end of season? Oh the temptation that is potential. I'm looking at you Dani Pacheco, Florent Sinama-Pongolle, Anthony LaTallec, and Stewart Downing.

Assaidi was an unused sub. Looks like Hughes made the right call though today. Pennant's winner was gorgeous.

    Reina at Napoli
    Assaidi at Stoke
    Ngoo at Yeovil Town
    Coady at Sheffield United
    Adorjan at Groningen
    Robinson at Blackpool

Would love to see Coady eventually get a shot with the 1st team.

He certainly has time on his side. A good season this year should see him come back in contention for the first team squad next summer.

He has gotta watch out for young Rossiter who is quickly gaining ground on him at that spot.

Suso drew a penalty and also scored a goal in Almeria's game on Saturday - their first point as well.

    Good goal.

edit: Plus Adorjan scored his 2nd goal while on loan in Holland, just as good.

He's current spending most games as an unused sub for a League 1 team in a relegation position. Can't see him make the leap from that to our first team squad.

Borini on the bench again for Sunderland against Peterborough, at this point we might have been better off keeping him here if he's only going to come off the bench.

Suso is just gaining some incredible experience at Almeria - yeah the results aren't good - but as a newly promoted side they are in almost every game - just not enough quality to get past the teams yet.

Another assist for him this weekend.

Makes me wonder why Sterling doesn't get a top level loan as well - he really needs it.

I'm nervous that he won't be coming back.

Rodgers bought Aspas from a weak Liga team and Alberto from a Segunda team, he clearly rates the Spanish market. If he carries on his assists and goalscoring over the entire season he will be guaranteed to return.

While he does rate the Spanish league, I think it might be more of an issue of him showcasing himself for a lot of other Liga clubs, and maybe not having a defined role here.

Is he better than Coutinho? Is he better than Moses? Does he play the #10, or his a wide player? Does he provide something more than Ibe, Sterling, I mean he passes well, but his pace is my question. I also think it's no real surprise that they were searching for an attacking part.

I think he's certainly blossoming playing there, but I'm hesitant to think that it means a whole lot for his return.

Well, we do need some additional depth in the attacking department since an injury to coutinho means we are regularly placing 4 defenders on the bench - so to say he has no future here is pretty depressing.
I think he is doing well and hopefully he comes back with new ideas and is given a chance to prove himself here.

His pass at the :50 sec mark is as good a ball as I've seen in the Premier League all season. The vision, the timing, the weight of it - just gorgeous.

I'm pretty sure he'll be back next year and will play a part in the first team. We're seeing a player go from a kid with promise to getting it done in one of the best leagues in the world. The question of course is whether or not he can do it in the rough-and-tumble nature of the Prem, but with the style we play and the quality he'll be surrounded with, I don't think that'll be a problem.

It's safe to assume he'd be Coutinho's backup in the #10 role, but I think his future is further back on the pitch, maybe even growing into a Xabi-type player. It's true he's not very quick, but his vision and ability to pick a pass are really quite remarkable. In a three-man midfield alongside a ball-winner and a harrying workhorse, I think he would be excellent.

I think that is no longer as clear-cut as it used to be given the number of Premier League proven players who have disappointed at Liverpool or non-Premier League who have thrived. He also works and tackles as well as anyone we currently have in the Liverpool midfield.

And it was a beauty - too bad he never scored like that for LFC...
