Unless its someone at Bielsa's level, the best we can get from the FMF is Vuce and Piojo. Firing right now is ridiculous. So far Vuce has been average with his strategies and changes. The good he added gullit to create offense through the middle. Rafa has given this team some flashes of order. He benched torrado, salcido, and, meza and did not call maza. His sub for Jimenez for a midfielder was something chepo would've not done. The bad, weak call up list. Playing out of form Chicharo. Refusing to sub out a player with obvious stamina issues. Failure to tactically correct the left side which was being exploited all game.
The only change i would support would be to put Herrera and use "America Reforzada" for the Finland friendly and New Zealand games. Also i wouldn't call any Euro players sans maybe Moreno if he is back in full health and Gio based on pure talent(being able to bring him on as a sub), the base that plays the Finland game and is training with the NT should play vs New Zealand. The only real difference makers we have in Europe are Chicharo when in form and Gio, thats it.

Chepo stays ----> pull the cord at the last possible salvagable moment---->new coach has no time to adjust----> panic and fire the new coach because now you want to avoid another chepo situation-----> repeat. It sucks the FMF chose a terrible coach like Chepo to blindly stick with. It was obvious we should have cut our losses months and months ago. There is a difference between giving a coach time to work and letting them do what Chepo did. And now the FMF wont differentiate between the two and just fire first ask questions later. remember saying this would happen a long time ago. Vuce should stay for at least the NZ game.

really hope this is just a rumor... has piojo ever coached a team in an international competition? i remember the concacaf champions league with monterrey, to which they were humbled by saprissa which got into the inaugural (new) club world cup. it's not that i don't think he's a good coach, i think he is great personally, but i also know that there's nothing to tell me he will do better than chepo or vuce. sure, america looks great now, but the league is also very, very, very, very poor in comparison to 10 years ago.
