Ben did you officially burn your Arsenal jersey? Should put that on Youtube if you do.

Weather today must remind you of Seattle, lol. Are you staying in the city itself or somewhere in the outer boroughs?

So, how long before PJY makes a start ;) Just kidding, but he's training with the first team for a reason... do you figure he'll play for the Reserves team or whatever?

Not sure if it was already posted but I saw on twitter that he should join Wigan on loan...

I need more specs! Doing some research now if it is true this would be the best.

Will I be the only one who won't be excited by PCY joining Wigan on emergency loan? Owen Coyle is the manager, Grant Holt returned from injury.... the thought of PCY as Grant Holt's possible backup/sub role for a brief one month loan isn't very appealing to me.

However, at this point... any play time is positive news for PCY.

Would be nice for him to have Europa League to reignite interest in his services.

Not permanent so the goal would be get into form with the hopes of impressing either at Europa or WC.

Uhh, not sure PCY is eligible to play in Europa League. He isn't registered for the tournament & even if he can.. it will be 2 game max against Rubin Kazan. Also, not that it will matter much but it will limit his choice once he finds a way out of Arsenal in winter.

Good news - Emergency Loan can last up to 93 days (for about 3 month).

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2274879/Football-League-loan-window-explained.html

Bad news - PCY isn't eligible to play Europa League. Wigan can't make changes til Jan.

Well no, I mean it's a pity he won't get international exposure but after the loan (should it happen) I still wouldn't see why Arsenal would keep PJY. Best case scenario - he plays for Wigan on loan, then comes back transfer window time, then Arsenal either decide to play him (unlikely) or ship him off to France or any other team that wants him. The Europa League would be nice but is not a must. I'm more concerned about him playing at all.

For some reason didn't think about that. I guess its so rare to have lower level teams in Europa. Well, at the least there's greater demand for warm bodies due to fixture congestion. And the WC may be where he will look to rebuild his brand.

Long enough that it would cover til next window where if only Wigan wre interested, it could be turned permanent / extended (which I wouldn't want another KPA in championship unless only option)

The best case scenario - PCY scores goals in Championship. Teams in Bundesliga take notice & purchase/loan him during Jan. transfer window (seriously, at least 60% of Bundesliga clubs can use or take a gamble on him. Wolfsburg... Mainz). Or, struggling EPL teams in relegation loan him for half of the season in Jan....

Ironically, Id think that PCY is one of few Korean footballers that could do well enough in Championship-style football. Not sure many BL scouts will watch the actual matches tho

Probably not but I'm hoping he is on their radar. Mainz can really use him... I cringe whenever I see Okazaki line-up as CF for them....
