I think I'm one of the few US fans who think Berhalter may have handled the ball.

Don't worry. They won't see it. It was on BeIn Sport and I doubt its getting replayed on sportscenter. Maybe they'll get it on the 14 hour pregame program on ESPN tomorrow I suppose. But are any non-soccer fans watching that? Not likely.

There was an agreement with Hertha when JAB was called up. The US could have forced him to stay, but chose to play nice with the coach there.

How does Besler stop himself from going ape shit on Campbell, the AR (is he Mexican too) the Ref?
Federation has to be able to change the rules and punish diving, simulation, cheating or it will continue and increase.
If there is no repercussions to cheating like this it will continue with impunity.

    Why NFL wins again:

NFL: "refs screwed up in the 49ers game. It will go into their evaluation"

    Concacaf: [chirp].

Which is fine, but he was blaming Chiqui. He didn't make the call.

Splitting hairs. It was a full Mexican team. And you could have added that AR made the call and is Mexican too. No biggie.

What I think Jurgen WILL do:
    --------------EJ---------------
    -----------Dempsey-----------
    F.Johnson--------------Donovan
    ------Jones---Beckerman-------
    Beas--Gonzo--Goodson--Parkhurst
    -----------Howard-------------

What I think Jurgen SHOULD do:
    --------------EJ---------------
    -----------Dempsey------------
    F.Johnson--------------Donovan
    -------Jones----Mixx---------
    Beas--Gonzo---Orozco--Parkhurst
    ----------- Howard-------------

A loss in Costa Rica after a such a long period of success is no reason to panic and drastically change up the formation, especially with such an important game coming up vs Mexico. So for all these people calling for 4-3-2-1 or 4-4-2 or whatever, need to realize this. A 4-5-1 is what got us here, so we need to stick with it, just with some necessary personnel changes.

My reasoning for Orozco over Goodson at CB is this: Gonzalez and Goodson are just about the same player. Tall, strong, kind of slow... We don't need both of them. Orozco is a natural CB, not RB, which is why he looked mostly dreadful against Costa Rica, in addition to Zusi being a bum. Orozco also plays in Mexico and has been doing relatively well as of late with his club. He knows a lot of the Mexican players and the style of play.

Mixx instead of Beckerman is obvious, I hope.

If we have no goals by halftime, one of either Dempsey or EJ needs to be yanked and replaced with Johannson. No goals in a half against your archrival at home with a heavily pro-US crowd, is unaaceptable.
