I'd be incredible nervous about any changes in the backline. As bad as it's been consistency here might be key.

No and No. Will people stop saying stuff like this like we're simply entitled to wins against every CONCACAF without earning them. Costa Rica is a good team, especially at home, especially when we don't have 2 great players, especially when they have all of their players, when they'r motivated etc etc. This just in we are not the best footballing nation in the world and can win against any team by out mere presence and US on our shirt. The footballing world does not revolve around us.

ugh... can't get the 2 soft goals given out of my mind... 1-0 to the good if we had pulled our heads out from the start for me

According to Yves Galarcep he is perambulating on crutches, and is doubtful for Mexico.

Honestly, Dempsey is one of my least favorite players. I just hate the way he plays the game.

Seriously. There's something fundamentally wrong about oil money buying the rights and holding many US TV providers hostage, just like how oil money bought the two world cups to follow Brazil.

Demote that all you want, I'm rocking the Clash tonight.

    This Bein Sports is horrible.
This is the worst production since my viewing of 2 homeless guys and 2 crackheads doing Shakespeare in the park in NYC.

It seems like this is actually happening...or maybe they're temporarily put their foot off the pedal.

46' 2-1 No subs. USA contest a ball at midfield, win it. Jones nice one-touch knockback to keep possession. USA finally surge up centerline to arc top, lose ball to two slide tackles. First one put Dempsey down? Play on ...

47' 2-1 CRC break, but lose it to our backline.

48' 2-1 Donovan chases Oviedo(?) to 25m left touch, shoulders him into touch from the right flank. Foul.
49' 2-1 CRC send it to Howard. They're gassed already :D

No... the 2nd goal was no fault of his. The 1st one though... I dunno. Do teams usually put shortcakes on the posts? The only defender I can remember defending the post on a shot is Torsten Frings, and height doesn't matter when you use your hand.

Tempo needs to step up. I swear USA look as if they're playing in slow motion at times.

It's always been that way. He flops, he rarely hustles, most of his goals are just cherry picking, etc...

Not saying he isn't good, because he obviously is, but I just hate the way he plays.
