based on yesterday I would have to think that the best result went to Villa with Fulham in second and Soton with a good result as well
Holloway worked miracles with Blackpool and they still went down not sure he will be able to come anywhere near as close with this lot
agreed I think they are aware of the new parachute payments and will hopefully try to use those to their advantage for the future. The good thing with Holloway is that at least they will try to play football on the way down.
Spurs looking like a toothless version of Barca. I think they've gotten one shot on goal in total; an amazing lack of penetration despite having all the possession. And this is against a pretty poor Palace side.
have to love the attitude of Holloway all or nothing as they go down 1-0 no damage limitation for him
really has been superb support for Palace today hope it continues through the season which I suspect it will their fans have been through an awful lot of over the past few years
Soton with another sizeable purchase. Wasn't he Roma's top scorer last season? 16 would suggest he was up there. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23750101
Risky. Talented player but I've heard nothing but bad about his attitude and personality. Definitely an impressive pickup though, and yeah, he was top scorer with Lamela right behind him
definitely an interesting move but I do appreciate the chances Soton are taking as they seem to be taking a different approach from their contemporaries with big risk/reward signings
