Games start this weekend. Time to start posting broadcast info. I assume the first friendly against Preston North End will be on the official site? I'm not seeing a schedule of the pre-season friendlies, only a useless YouTube promo video.
Friendly, Preston North End vs. Liverpool 10 a.m. beIN Sport In North America from Steven Goff in the Washington Post
there will be some hiccups in the coverage this year - trying to figure out the channels on the new NBC platforms but - we are the first game of the new season - Stoke kick has been moved to the early game so that means 7:45am E - not sure yet on the channel - but likely NBC Sports
ugh, I wanted to avoid paying for beIN sport, but I guess I will have to do so, unless there's a stream.
sorry about the weird cut and paste ARLO WHITE NAMED LEAD PLAY-BY-PLAY VOICE WORKING WITH LEE DIXON AND GRAEME LE SAUX; WILL CALL GAMES FROM THE U.K. LEGENDARY GARY LINEKER TO SERVE AS SPECIAL CONTRIBUTOR TO PREMIER LEAGUE TELECASTS FORMER JAMAICAN NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER ROBBIE EARLE AND FORMER ENGLISH FOOTBALLER ROBBIE MUSTOE TO SERVE AS STUDIO ANALYSTS WITH HOST REBECCA LOWE
The friendlies overseas are going to be on pretty early in the US from my understanding (Eastern): --- July 20 - @ Indonesia - 9:30am July 24 - @ Melbourne - 6am July 28 - @ Thailand - 6:45am --- Then the preseason back in England/Europe August 3 - Olympiakos - 7:45a August 7 - @ Vallerenga - 1pm August 10 - @ Celtic - 12pm TV coverage (if any) will be filtering in slowly but surely.
The pitch is on a slope, that's the problem. If you're ever playing there and win the toss, kick downhill in the second half.
does anyone know why directv took BeIn out of the regular sports package? it started there with FSC and now, i guess, you need the super-duper sports package for it? anyone? ...i guess i can just google it...
The friendlies overseas are going to be on pretty early in the US from my understanding (Eastern): --- July 20 - @ Indonesia - 9:30am - LIVE BeIN Sport July 24 - @ Melbourne - 6am - DELAYED BeIn Sport July 28 - @ Thailand - 6:45am --- Then the preseason back in England/Europe August 3 - Olympiakos - 7:45a August 7 - @ Vallerenga - 1pm August 10 - @ Celtic - 12pm TV coverage (if any) will continue to filter in slowly but surely I'm hoping...I wouldn't be surprised if all the pre-season games make it onto US TV one way or another.
Never knew that was the case - I was already paying for the "Sports Monthly" pack - $12.99 - but that got me the FSC, GolTV (now BeIN), MSG, etc. - Hope that hasn't/won't change.

I found the best case scenario when I moved back to Dallas and brought DirecTV back to into the mix was to get the bigger Spanish package. I get most of the English channels I normally watch and also: FSC, Fox Deportes, Bein, Bein Esp, ESPN Deportes, and Gol TV.
let's not air our domestic problems here ok? (and I don't mean Liverpool failing to win the league in forever)
This is DirectTV Channel 628. There is also a delayed broadcast on BeIN Espanol at 10am - but I have no idea what that channel is.
