what else? do you want us to predict the goals and their scorers + the minutes they were scored? the number of km that each player runs in every match? the player who spitted most kg of saliva during the world cup matches?

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time responding to you but you think the USA is going to go from first to worst in their qualifying group and fail to qualify? Of course you do.

Here's my predictions: The guest who picks out the balls from the second pot will drop the ball and everyone will gasp. But then Blatter will make a joke and everyone will laugh. The dropped ball will have the name of EGYPT on it and go into Group D with Brazil and Montenegro. The commentators will have something interesting to say about that turn of events.

Touche! Yeah, I am pretty smart. They had to rewrite the MENSA entry exam after I scored off the charts. Seriously though, I saw "Mar 29" and thought it said "May 29." No harm, no foul.

Okay. Cool. Here's a medal for noticing that. It was a quick thing, okay? I saw what I thought was May 29 (which is a recent date even though there are no differences in standings between now and March 29) and thought it was kind of ridiculous to pick four teams qualifying from CONCACAF and not include the USA, a team which has qualified consistently and which WILL qualify again this year, whether three games have been played or six. I also saw that the "predictor" is a semi-troll who is kind of obnoxious so I wrote my little comment and hit reply before I realized that only three games had been played. I also didn't realize that puertoriccane had a fanbase of American fans. Or maybe you guys are just boy scouts. Did you also beg for homework from your teachers over the weekend too?
I'm out of this retard discussion. Later.

Alright, looking at the results up untill now (end of june 2013), here's how I would group countries.

    Already qualified:
    • Conmebol: Brazil
    • AFC: Australia, Iran, Japan, South Korea

More than 90% chance to qualify:
    • Concacaf: the United States
    • Conmebol: Argentina, Colombia
    • UEFA: Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Russia

From 50% to 90% chance to qualify:
    • CAF: Algeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Tunisia
    • Concacaf: Costa Rica, Honduras, Mexico
    • Conmebol: Chile, Ecuador, Uruguay
    • UEFA: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, England, France, Greece, Portugal
So here you have my 32 qualified teams guesses.

I believe Conmebol will win its playoff against AFC and Concacaf will win its playoff against New Zealand, making 10 qualified teams from the Americas.

For CAF, considering we don't know who will meet each other during playoffs, I've given an advantage for the best ranked team at FIFA ranking (they'll benefit from an advantage in pot distribution).

Fore Europe, I've made about the same. I see Bosnia and England eventually winning their group making the 4 second-place better ranked UEFA teams at FIFA ranking being Croatia, Portugal, Greece and France.

From 10% to 50% chance to qualify:
    • AFC: Uzbekistan
    • CAF: Cameroon, the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Libya, Senegal, South Africa
    • Concacaf: Panama
    • Conmebol: Venezuela, Peru
    • OFC: New Zealand
    • UEFA: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine

From 0% to 10% chances to qualify:
    • AFC: Jordan
    • CAF: Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Malawi, Uganda, Zambia
    • Concacaf: Jamaica
    • Conmebol: Bolivia, Paraguay
    • UEFA: Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Northern Ireland, Serbia, Slovenia, Wales

Still, it makes little sense to pick against the US in CONCACAF. I don't see us missing a World Cup anytime soon. Many of Panama's national team members play in our league. It's not like we're unfamiliar with them. They're improving, but they're not good enough to knock us from the competition. Honduras is pretty much the same. The only team outside of Mexico that really ever gives us any issues is Costa Rica.

But then again, there was alot of scuttlebutt with the implication that the US would struggle against Panama and Honduras. I just don't think that's realistic. The US passed those teams some time ago and that's not turning around anytime soon.

Egypt will have to meet one of the five I've mentionned, and only random will determined which one. That's how the playoff pot distribution will do. Of course Egypt can win, but against who?

As such, as a matter of pure probability, all of those 5 still have higher chances than Egypt (which doesn't mean Egypt doesn't have any!).

Egypt won't be one of the 5 seeded teams which means having a more difficult draw for the playoff. However, on the flipside one of the seeded teams will have to play them. The only reason their ranking is so relatively low is because of the political situation for which they failed to qualify for consecutive African Cups.

Egypt were in deep qualification trouble way before the political situation deteriorated. They lost to Niger and drew against Sierra Leone.
