Guys, I'm still looking for someone who would be willing to part ways with an Everton/Union match day scarf. Obviously I am willing to pay or trade. Please let me know. I'm a huge Everton fan, so it would mean a lot.
I'm also willing, I am a big scarf collector and missed out on this one despite being at the game. Obviously this guy has first dibs, but if anyone has multiples they're willing to part with, lmk.
One loaf of Bimbo wheat bread, one Chick-Fil-A spicy chicken sandwich, one shot of El Jimador tequila (from the Union branded bottle), one haircut at Great Clips, and a dozen telemarketing phone calls from Power Home Remodeling Group. Final offer.
I have to say, I'm far more upset about the PHR spam I accidentally signed up for than just about anything else the U have done.
"In order to win, we need to come out to your house." Such a scam. It appears that they will give me an estimate for whatever work I don't need performed and add $5,000 to it. Then, I'm going to "win" and they'll give me a $5,000 discount. Hooray! It reminds me of the time when my co-worker "won" a Happy Hour at a Center City bar by dropping her business card in a fish bowl. We got "free food" for an hour which consisted of soggy fries and stale tortilla chips. The domestic beers, however, were $6 and the well drinks were $8 each.
I'm not going to bid with you. Put up a price or a trade that you think the scarf is worth and we will go from there. What I am willing to part ways with: Sons of Ben Red Bull away scarf and a fair cash price. I am also willing to part ways with my sincere gratitude since I am a HUGE Everton fan.
Ha. Only requested the bidding as I'm not even sure how much to ask for it. I'll take a bit and think it over and get back to y'all
Selling scarves for $50 is ludicrous. I'll buy it for $30 at most or trade you a Red Bull away scarf.
That was me last year when I was hurting to pay my taxes for the year before. I actually was offered the $50, but by then I had raised enough money not to need to sell it. Kinda wish I had kept the Celtic scarf over it, but that had higher demand. If you're able to make it to any home matches, I'll gladly trade off for the RB away scarf.
Totally get it. Yeah, I'm a season ticket holder. I'm missing the home opener, but do you want to trade during the game against the revs on 3/16? Let me know,
Does the hat have the Union logo on it at all? Just saw the beanie on the site. I'll be picking that up as well.
I can appreciate the nod to the past in the new kit. But I think the additional merchandise is taking it too far. I think it's great. Better than anything the Union has ever put out. The logo wouldn't look out of place on a War Zone tee. And in my world, that's a good thing. But I can't help but think the additional merch is selling a different brand, a different team, with a nod to the Union. Not the other way around. I really like the new stuff. And I'm not trying to complain for the sake of complaining. It just seems like a strange move to make with such a young franchise.
Watch how many people from the Lehigh Valley actually buy this or start going to games now. Makes great sense marketing wise for them to hit the Lehigh Valley with a huge population potential. Being from Bethlehem I can say not many people up here are aware of the union or MLS for that matter.
Evidently the bsfc is drug free. I actually feel like they got this idea from the eagles. I know the union fo have been working with the eagles now, so it wouldnt surprise me if jeff lurie was like "hey nick, you know what we did to boost our merchandise sales? Made a bunch of shit in black, people love black...." And boom, here it is...
