I feel the need to do this again, what a terrible rage-inducing game in Russia that was, and I don't wanna talk about it any more. Here we go again, moving on..again

Sturridge really needs to come back, and Agger's got to pick it up. The whole team really just needs to wake up.

    Reina
    Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique
    Lucas
    Henderson Gerrard Downing
    Suarez Sturridge

Yeah that's my team -- the best we got. This will be a tough game and another test of Rodgers project.

    Swans. 26 - 9 - 10 - 7 - 38 - 29 - 9 - 37
    L'pool. 26 - 9 -- 9 - 8 - 38 - 29 - 10-36

One more draw for them, one more goal for us. Doesn't get a lot closer. They are higher than us in the league and as every one (and his dog) has pointed out. We haven't beaten anyone above us in the league.
Perhaps we can make it a season first.......:)

We can't seem to break out of this mold we've been in since, what, way back in Rafa's days. The manager puts a team on the pitch and says.
"Dominate them, make then look bad, put in a lot of shots and make the keeper and the frame of the goal look good...... but don't score. Then in the last few minutes stand by on fixed plays and let them score."
Or does it just seem that way to me?

It's going to be a win for us, there is no way we continue this rum of bad form and they have a cup final the following week to think of. Confident of a win.

Funny you should say that, I was raging at the last ten mins of the west brom game and my dog asked me, what did i expect, they havent even been in the CL for about 30 dog years. He was a kid, last time they were good.

Well actually, he just looked at me kinda grumpily at all the noise i was making--but i could tell thats what he meant.

Had to admit, he had a good point........:)

Know what you mean. I started watching LeArse, Yawn. It reminded me of the way we play lesser talented but well drilled teams. So I tried Milton Keynes Dons then moved onto Boro...Then moved to my office to get away from them all.

Barton is the worst. I love when FSC points out that he's "former England international Warren Barton". He has three caps - one that was abandoned after 35 minutes and another in which he was like an 89th-minute sub. Sure, he's played for England, but it's been a combined <90 min.

Back to the Swansea game. Let's ********ing win one for the first time in awhile. :D

Out of all those on that bench my favourite is Wynalda and I can tollerate Barton for the most part (Except when discussing Liverpool. He must have had a hard time playing us) The 'bench was so much better today without that insufferable arsehole Stone.

Is that official? How much do Carragher, Gerrard and Suarez have left in the tank?

Not official, just my guess. I think Rodgers sees this as a must win -- fans on his back, poor run, former club -- so he has to risk the big guns from the start.
