Doubt it. Not that his vote had much effect, given that he lived in Vacaville. A bit outnumbered he was.

Some more shitting on the drone strikes...

Thanks for getting on that, Bob, AFTER you leave government. Ya know, if only you and your boss had agreed to not do this earlier...we still would have killed bin Laden and he'd be re-elected. There was literally no upside to drone strikes. None.

Agreed, but he's right that there should be some sort of review. At the very least, something similar to the FISA court should be set up for this.

WASHINGTON – Former Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates said Sunday that there should be an outside check on the power of a president to order drone strikes on American citizens.

Barack Obama, recently re-elected by America, disagrees with this. Think about that for a few minutes.

It remains unclear to me why you think the people who will read your post have not thought about it...

There are now as many Americans getting food stamps, or link cards, than there are people in Spain. Since Obama has been prez, that's an average of 11,600 per day.

That you typed these sentences and aren't on public benefits proves we aren't in any sort of meritocracy.

Of course, George Bush, what a noncompoop <sic>. Thank God that God (Obama) has righted the ship and people don't have to rely on abusing the system anymore.

    All Heil.

Obviously the economy is booming and it matters not that there is no one at the helm.

no, the sad part is your partisan blinders that disable any possibility of you actually understanding what is going on here and placing the blame where blame rightly lies (and some of it definitely falls at 1600 Penn), but there are plenty more actors in this drama... but I know, that doesn't fit into your 140 character thought limit

If you had anything, anything at all, to bring to the table as a serious alternative to what the Obama administration has been doing for the past four years that would be one thing. But the bullshit that is always being peddled by the right, that they try and pawn off as their economic theory, is so thoroughly rotten, misguided and ineffectual, that we just refuse to take it seriously any longer.

What, pray tell, besides the pathetically inept and debunked theories espoused by the supply siders, would you do to fix the economy?

    Actually, he did.

This is a Bush economy. It's his tax rates, meaning his revenue base -- which limits Obama's vision of an active, expansionary government as being mostly just a vision.

See, the GOP types say I like Obama, they like Bush, thus it's an equivalency. But nothing of the sort. They just sell sell sell, never a moment's credit to the other side, never a moment's blame for their side. I don't do that shit. If this economy takes off from here, it's mostly Bush's doing. Now so was the miserable 4 1/2 years before, that must be admitted. But it's not as if Obama has fundamentally changed the W agenda.
