Seems like ages since we played at home. Another early start - sorry for you west coast lads, at least you are not buried under snow. ESPN2 starting 7.45am EST

Adebayor should be back, but his fitness will be a question. No Defoe, so it's Ade or (gulp) Harry Kane leading the line. Or Dempsey gets another chance. Will Holtby make the starting 11? Who will have the most pristine coiffure, Dawson, Vertonghen, Holtby???

Newcastle, a team that seems to have no trouble finding strikers to buy, bring an upswing in form and last week's 2-goal debutant Sissoko to the Lane.

With Chelsea at home to powderpuff Wigan later (I mean, who loses at HOME to WIGAN??) we need to win and keep up the pressure, maybe extend the gap behind us to Everton/Arse.

    Hehehehehe

Who knows when Ade got back after the shit he pulled, but if he is healthy he starts up top, and I'd like Holtby to be in the starting XI as well.

Adebayor apparently only got back Friday late afternooon, he's on the bench. Holtby starts with Dempsey.

Holtby should have a goal by now, but taking up decent positions and nice passing. Great run by Caulker to set him up.

Good chance for Cisse. Got slack with our pressing.

3rd decent chance for Holtby, good to see us finally play in Lennon, he can beat Santon just as easily as Bale vs Debuchy.

Could do with Ekotto on for Naughton at some point. Obviously with Ade has any fitness/motivation he would be a logical choice upfront.

Wasn't it this game last year Adebayor had 5 assists? Can we have that player come on?

Livermore was the last player we wanted on the end of that chance :D Nice steal and break by Ade though.

I think Parker has been giving Lennon lessons in defence. He's been an absolute terrier.
