Among realities (like Neymar, Oscar, Lucas), players who are shining now and it will still shine, I quote some brazilians players that may appear too hard on the football scene in the coming years:

91/92 - Oscar, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Neymar, Lucas, Bernard, Phillipe Coutinho, Wellington Nem, Casemiro, Fernando, Dodô
93 - Rafael Alcantara, Felipe Anderson, Fred, Vinicius Araujo (not yet had chances in the Cruzeiro first team, it's time!), Jadson, Leandro
94 - Adryan, Bruno Mendes, Ademilson, Doria, Marquinhos, Wallace, Misael, Piazón
95 - Victor Andrade, Douglas Baggio

Next year, we will see all these in action, whether in Europe or in the Brazilian Championship.

In 2013/2014, more players will emerge from generations 93-94-95-96.

I'm eager to know how all these players will be in 2018.

The article is very good, but lacked write about Nem

What Bruno Mendes did at the end of the season was very impressive.

Douglas Baggio is quite a ways off from contributing with the main team. I've seen people writing bad things about Mattheus in another thread, but from the very limited time he got this year, he impressed me more than Adryan. Mattheus looked to have a good understanding of the game and once he physically fills out and gets used to the pace and physicality of the brasileirao, I see him turning into a pretty good player. IMO Adryan disappointed me a little this season, but gets a pass because Dorival played him out of position. But again he is still extremely young, so my grading of him is unfair.

Matheus plays as a CAM. I found it too slow for a CAM position, seems to have no speed or ability to evade defenders, but as I said, say that he is training very well. Let's see how it will play in this league. He should get more chances at Flamengo in 2013.

Adryan also not impressed me, but the categories U-15, under-17 and under-20 he already broke. Without doubt, has much potential. And it has a very good kick.

Baggio is considered a promise Flamengo, if I'm not mistaken he already trains with the pros. Must play this year.

Baggio doesn't train with the pros. From my understanding he played with the u-17 team the whole year. It was only until the end of the season that he was training with the U-20s.

Baggio came to train with professionals, yes, but it was short lived.

He scored 72 goals in 2012 in the youth category and played the Brazilian U-20 (was in the squad).

Now he is in the squad that will compete in the Copa SP de Futebol Júnior (Copinha) this month.

Besides him, another promise of Flamengo's is midfielder Renan Donizete, the ''Panterinha'' (son of former player Donizete, remember him?). They say he has excellent physical strength and talent.

    -

In Vasco, do not see any young player with potential to become great at the moment. Marlone still have much to show, but has potential.

The lower categories, Guilherme Costa is great promise, but has not done much in the South American Sub17. Another promise is midfielder Matheus Indio, generation 96. I've seen this play and has a lot of potential. No doubt it appears at pro team in 2014 or 2015.

Who really impresses me with his skills/talent is Caio Rangel. I believe he is only 15 or 16 though.

Caio Rangel is 96. Will 17 years this month. It has the same age as Indio.
Never seen him play, but say it is very talented, is well spoken since Sub13 and Sub15 classes.

The problem of youth categories is because the transition to the pros is not always easy.

Lulinha was a phenomenon in Corinthians but never established himself in the first team.
In Flamengo, Diego Mauricio and Negueba had a high level in youth categories but did not play well in the professional team.
Wellington Silva was Fluminense's great promise and today is gone in Spain.
Phillipe Coutinho is one of the most talented young players I've ever seen, but left very early from Brazil and has not established itself in Europe

    Several examples.

Transition is something difficult in Brazil.

Well I'm exited for Bernard, Adryan, and most of all Doria. I was a little harsh on Matheus in an earlier thread but I will watch him with an open mind in the U 20s. I saw Baggio play today he looked good from what I saw.

Doria and Marquinhos are already starting eleven players as CB in Botafogo and Roma respectively. I've been watching Marquinhos closely this season. He is a bit rough on the edges still but honestly I don't think I've ever seen an 18 year defender playing so maturely. Or any other age for that matter until the mid 20s. Bernanrd has been amazing alongside Ronaldinho this season. Liked ademilson in the first U20s game against Ecuador

Baggio doesn't train with the pros. I still reserve my doubts about him.

Luca, I wish some of those young names you mentioned above would go on loan to a Brazilian club. Seems like the club that owns them are reluctant on sending them back rather than giving them "European" experience. I mean, will Piazon really get time at Malaga? He'd be an interesting option on some Brazilian teams.

Why wouldn't Piazon get time at Malaga? they're not incredibly deep.. not by a shot and are battling on three fronts.. CL, La Liga and Copa Del Rey. If a 16 yr old Cameroonian can get quality time with Malaga, I'm sure Piazon can, especially since they don't have the arab money anymore.

Not sold on Danilo yet.. Coutinho's development has been stagnant ever since he left Vasco.. Casemiro is very average, I don't find him promising anymore..

Felipe Anderson sucks, Leandro looks average.

Adryan has a lot of work ahead of him.. I think his attitude is whats going to keep him from reaching the next level in terms of being a complete player, Misael didn't look outstanding to me.. reminds me of Sandro, a lot of grit, don't know about his technique though.

Victor Andrade lol.. this kid is going to be a head case.

    just my opinions though.

I don't see why Lucas piazon went over there if he wasn't going to play. Chelsea shipped him off to get playing time. I'm sure they were informed of malaga's intentions before hand.

I've always had big doubts about Adryan. But now, I'd be very surprised if he turned into anything other than a mediocre player.

I hope we get to see a lot of Adryan in the Carioca he has a lot to prove. I have pretty much given up hope on Felipe Anderson being anything better than average. What was up with Doria and Luan at the u 20s? Talk about stocks falling those two plummeted.

I'd compare Rafinha's talent to Neymar's, but that wouldnt be fair for Neymar to have live up to such high expectations.

That Bernard kid is an attention getter when he plays. Its like watching Ferris Bueller having fun on the field. He reminds me of an early Juninho Paulista with a scoring style like Romario. Fks, good heading, dribbling, vision passing..I'm definitely gonna follow this kid.
