It would be interesting to know exactly what the problem is with Cagliari's stadium. The articles only state that it is deemed as unsafe. Apparently they have some capacity limit because of it.
Man what's with these islander teams and being complete messes? More specifically in France with Corsica and Italy, Sardinia... Seem they run on a different wavelength... One week its fine to play in the stadium the next week not so much More specifically with Corsican teams they are racists and shoot fireworks at opposing teams fanbases
The problem comes with playing against the big clubs. The stadium is likely to sell out, which creates the safety issue I assume. I'm not sure if it is an influx of visitors to the island or tifosi within.
Berlusconi: «Perché Napoli sì e Milan no?» Il patron rossonero: «La partita con il Cagliari si deve giocare a Quartu. Davvero non vedo come si possa dire sì ad una squadra come il Napoli, e non al Milan»
You'd have to visit those islands just to understand how true this statement really is, on many levels.
I mean you'd think by February they'd have gotten the IS Arenas up to a certain standard to hold matches not to have the FIGC come down on them.
LOL, yeah anywhere else, but in Sardegna people only work when they feel like it. It's a different universe over there.
