I hate handball, but they're not showing it while there are any football matches going on (apart from the La Liga game which the other beIN channel is showing).
Really.. So forget their football invetory of matches that day and instead show HANDBALL. Again.... REALLY????????? What are are you thinking... Cantona---
Palermo/Lazio is being delayed to 9p that could air where the handball is being played. There are 6 games from France that are being played today. How many games does the company that produces the French League make available to the world audience each weekend? There is also the English League Championship of which beIN aired Derby County/Nottingham Forest this morning. How many games a weekend does the company that produces the English League Championship offer to the world TV audience?
Ligue 1 produces 4 games for worldwide distribution each matchday.. the N-Power Championship has 3 for worldwide distribution.. but has others that rights holders can utilize.. Cantona---
That's what I am saying , it's genius, total breakthrough!! Who would've known that it's not a game itself, but announcers are the most important thing. I'm sure they didn't offer same feed to all of Latin America,it would be most popular league in there too. Heck, I would go as far as predicting ( you heard it first from me) - if Bein would be smart enough to hire Derek Rae for Handball World Championship- handball would become more popular than football.
live stream for the U-20 tourney works flawlessly would certainly be worth the money when everything is up and ready!!
And honestly, how many hits do you think it got? Wait until they stream a game that interests more than a few hundred households before praising the stream quality.
Now that you mentioned it, I eagerly anticipated this tournament since you never know when the next Marcelo Salas would be on display. Unfortunately my wait would have to be a little longer since the competition has been completely unwatchable.
I think you mean ray hudson. Just look at his youtube video comments - easy decision in my view for bein.
I like Ray Hudson, but the clowns that call all the Real Madrid games are painfully mediocre. I literally watch all of Real's games in Spanish now. Also they need to leave the Serie A games to the "in-house announcers" who know what they're talking about. Lastly, if they're gonna show volleyball matches (which I'm all for) why are they showing the men's league and not the women's league? Do they not realize that their audience is predominantly male viewers? Pretty sure most guys would rather watch babes play vball than dudes lol. C'mon now.
The US-Honduras game was live on BeIN late afternoon--during a time when most people were at work so they were airing a repeat after the live Panama & Costa Rica game. Spoiling it for me, the bastard commentators for Panama-Costa Rica revealed the US- Honduras score. Does anyone know if they were using feed announcers or was it their own people who offered the spoiler?
beINSport has no filter when it comes to score "spoilers". They will show highlights of goals 2 minutes before they air that same match for the first time. Its just the way it is and I don't think it will ever change. A DVR is your friend this day and age. I don't see how any soccer fan who works a "regular" job can survive without one. Then, the key is to watch the matches in order they were recorded and skip through the halftime, post-game and any other fillers. It's your only hope. While I understand your frustration, I really can't imagine beINSport or any other network not mentioning the score of a match played 5 hours prior in the same tournament - especially a match involving the US!! SA
I just cannot believe how much Shoen and The Co-bster yammered on yesterday. Thank God I was in a bar and most of it was drowned out.
I was able to watch the US game live - taped Mexico/Jamaica and Costa Rica/Panama. Watched Costa Rica/Panama first this morning early - then Jamaica/Mexico.
I know that ESPN was flashing the Panama/Costa Rica score throughout their Mexico/Jamaica broadcast and I am pretty sure (not 100%) that beINSport was mentioning the Mexico score. I was watching both live but had the sound louder on ESPN. Either way, its going to be hard not to get spoilers throughout this Hex... SA
I must have missed the Mexico score (thankfully) while watching Panama/Costa Rica. Grateful just to see all three matches.
I think BeIN has potential...but it comes off very cheap looking, especially when Al-Jazeera is supposedly behind it. You have an oil rich state broadcaster running the show, and the presentation comes off like a public access broadcast? Shame BeIN, shame.
