They probably have never experienced weather like this in their life, and it showed.. Also they only had 2 days to adjust from Winter weather in Germany to the heat in Honduras.. It just wasn't a good idea to start them.

I honestly don't even think the weather played a part in the loss and plus we really don't have much of a choice. Who else would've played left back?

Castillo.. He plays in Mexico he must be used to the heat.. Weather does play a part if you have no experience with it.. Just look how lazy Chandler and Johnson played today

The germans start because we have a german coach. Why do we have a german coach? Because we have an inferiority complex.

Jermaine Jones has been our best player for the last two games he's played in.

    No idea why Williams

FJ and Chandler are the obvious choices at this time.

    Why ask this question?

Why do we have an inferiority complex? Because Germany is much better than us.

Outside of Jones, I don't see a damn thing these Germans brought to the table and even Jones isn't used the way he is in Germany.

They are much better on Germany than the US. That's the problem. Give me Edu, Gooch, Goodson, or one of them over the Germans outside of Jones.

I'll grant you "better" but not "much better". The last time we played them in a game that meant something we gave them all they could handle. Just like Spain, Brasil, Italy, and England

If you're blaming Chandler and Johnson, you obviously don't know a damn thing about soccer. Anyone who does could see JK's tactical decisions hung them out to dry by assigning them, particularly Chandler, impossible tasks. They had to cover the entire flank by themselves, providing width and crossing in the attack, then recover to mark the Honduran outside mid in defense... in the heat on a spongy field. Yeah, that seems totally possible for someone to do.

Williams should't be starting at all. Jones was one of better players today and he was subbed off early??? Fabians probably the most complete player we have all around outside of Donovan, and yet he's forced to play a position that doesn't maximize his potential for us (not really JK's fault, but it doesn't seem like he's going to look for real options). Seems to me JK's trying to force the players he thinks are the best on paper on the field at the same time.

Jones was gassed. I'm one of his biggest fans but it was his time.

I think we're lacking width and a CAM. There's a reason we look abysmal in the final 3rd and it's not because of Klinsmann.

The middle third is definitely JK's fault.

He left Gatt, Corona, Mixx, and Feilhaber at home (along with Donovan and Shea, but those aren't his fault), so he chose not to select a few players who could've given us a spark. That is on him.

Not bringing/using a CAM situation is definitely his fault but we also have no proven CAM at any level.

I don't know about Gatt in this game. Might've been useful. Especially in the first 60minutes.

I have no idea what Im watching here. Assuming EJ because of the Greek.

Also, who ever that is, that's some horrible keeping. Like being subbed out for the rest of the season bad.

I Agree bro.. We should have started Castillo at LB and Fabian at LW, and put johnson on the bench.. We were lacking creativity big time

They may be better than us but we aren't them and no matter how many of them JK brings in, it isn't making us any better. I thought that Fabian had an OK game for the most part but after all the hype about Chandler...OMG... I wish he's not come. He was terrible. So were the two central defenders.

I think it's one of those ideas that sounds good but soon we'll have players all over the place playing out of position...

One bad game by Fabian and you don't see what he offers? He's been a better asset for our NT than Jones since he signed up.

Faint praise....we've been bad since Jones was installed in central midfield.

It's in comparison to Jones and the Germans. Compared to our entire team, Fabian has been one of our top player since he signed up. That's not faint praise.
