Sweden versus Argentina 6th February 2013Kick Off: 1930 GMTNya Ullevi Stadion Last six matches Sweden:FR 0-3 L v BrazilFR 1-0 W v ChinaWQ 2-0 W v KazakhstanWQ 2-1 W v Faroe IslandsWQ 4-4 D v GermanyFR 4-2 W v England Star player: Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Should be an interesting night for our defence and a physical challenge for our midfield. Quite possible John Guidetti the young pretender to Ibrahimovic will also feature at some point. On current form this is the 23 man squad I'd pick:GK: Romero, Caballero, AlvarezDF: Zabaleta, Fernandez, Garay, Spolli, Ansaldi, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Monzon,MF: Mascherano, Banega, Gago, Costa, Lamela, di Maria, GaitanFW: Messi, Higuain, Icardi, Aguero, Cristaldo
The last 4 matches shows Sweden firepower, although they conceided 7 in last 3 games and lost one sidedly to Brazil. If we can get some passing move going on, our weak defense will naturally get covered by itself, like the game against Uruguay and to some extend against Germany last year although that's because they're down to 10.

I'd always wanted to go to Sweden(Or just to the Scandinavian countries), this might of been a good time to go(or at least an excuse to go). Heard good things about that part of the world. I look forward to this game, I have checked the schedule and I do not think the game will be televised here. I am interested to see the team Sabella puts out. Some players play on Sunday then go to meet up with the team. I do not think Sabella will have enough time to put out what he really wants since the game is Wednesday. I just hope he tries out Ansaldi.
Right now Sweden have a very entertaining team, score loads, concede loads, basically a lot of fun. So the friendly should be enjoyable. Of course, now I have written that it will end 0-0.
Hello. I am in Los Angeles, does anyone know what channel they are showing this game on?? or maybe a live stream
Here I am trying to cut back on drinking, and Im forced to go to the pub to watch the game -___- I dont mind
I didn't think the game was going to be shown on TV but it is on GOLTV(Stupid Time Warner, update your schedule!). BTW, top of the afternoon and evening to our posters throughout Argentina, the US and rest of the world. It's been a while since our last friendly, and lets put on a good game.
http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/167490/2/watch-sweden-vs-argentina.html Evening all. Magnificent rendition of the national anthem. Great stadium. Thanks to SectionX for the correction. Former loanee Kacaniklic is in the lineup. Ekstrand had to pull out with a knee injury. Disappointed that di Santo was picked ahead of Icardi. Also players like Gonzalo, Spolli and certainly Caballero deserve a callup. Looking at the Sweden backline we should be able to really get at them.
Good high tempo start pressing and passing. Thanks be for Papa Sabella. Goal..... Own goal. Lustig.Lucky for Pipita.
Plenty of space for our front three again on the counter. Gago needs to wake up in his defensive responsibilities.
Looking at that backline at the start there has to be....I want to see the defence being tighter though and more physical. You not watching Toby Jug and company ? Ah first touch magic passing..... Trobbiani you clown this is how you coach a side.
That has to be a yellow for Granqvist. That was a rugby tackle. Playing with excellent width. Sleepy at the setpiece.....What a surprise. Poor from Romero.
