I just realized this guy cost us TWO losses in a month!

An undefeated team all last year and only 2 close losses and this guy arrives and we suck shit and LOSE 2 games. One of which cost us the coppa title.

I know its not all his fault but already this guy is on a bad run with us. Hes just bad luck. I dont like this signing so i hope he doesnt play anymore.

Our poor finishing cost us games all the time.

It's not Peluso costing us games. We know his caliber when we got him. I blame these losses on management in that we still, after Zambrotta left us in 2006, have not gotten a good (not even great) left back. This is a position has been left unaddressed for 7 years. Shameful

We wouldn't have lost neither of those games if our forwards did their job.

I actually have to put blame on the whole team. Even though our forwards did not find the back of the net, our team chemistry has suffered especially our passing. In the last few games, I have cursed at the TV so much with stupid passing and you could see at times two plays on not on the same page. How many times has a pass gone up the middle when the receiving player is making a run to the corner. We could put specific blame on this player and that player, but our chemistry has suffered causing us to be in this "rut" per say. I do believe with Chiellini, Asamoah, Marchisio, Pirlo etc coming back to full fitness will be a boost. Although, I also have to agree that our transfer market this winter was poor.

come on guys......we've had scoring problems for a while but we DID NOT LOSE GAMES!

this guy comes in and we immediately have 2 losses in a month!
it hurts more especially that they were last min. type of goals. Its not even that some attack was built up from the left flank and he forgot to track back....its was stupid crosses that he couldnt defend.

If we had good stikers it wouldn't have come to that. We had plenty of chances to put both the Lazio and Samp games to bed. Unfortunately our forwards are so weak we have to rely on our defense and midfield to save us.

Put it this way... we create more chances than our opponent maybe 9 out of 10 games. We don't win 9 out of 10 games. Why is that? Because the other teams are more effective. What does that mean? Their strikers take care of their opportunities. We should have won that game against Sampdoria by 3 goals.

Lazio had THREE shots on goal in both legs of the Coppa Italia game against us. How many goals did we let in? Oh yeah, THREE.

In 4 Coppa Italia games we scored 4 goals, 2 from our forwards, 1 from midfield and 1 defender.

Lets all ignore that Asamoah has done a mighty fine job at left wing back and therefore was our great LB signing that we had lacked in recent years. Currently, hes not a CM I'll tell you that much.

I'm not ignoring Asamoah. He's been a great left-sided midfielder. But a left fullback he is not.

haha. Good thing our formation doesn't use fullbacks then. He was our LWB signing. Deal with it.

i think what he's trying to say is that if we're not playing a 4 man backline, it doesnt make sense to spend lots of money on LB....and with the way asamoah is playing i wouldnt wanna take him out of the line up or have him play that role

I don't have one. If anything, I'd say its the people that ignore Asamoah's accomplishments on the left that have a problem. haha.

Who is ignoring his accomplishments? Asamoah has played well thus far. Doesn't mean we should not address our lack of adequate depth at the left wingback/fullback position. If we eventually want to regain our status as a top world club, Asamoah, DeCeglie and Peluso will not be enough for the left IMO.

What accomplishments are those? That he hasn't completely sucked ass? He's not a LWB.

Just because he plays there because our team stinks doesn't mean he's a LWB. Once you start understanding football instead of just watching it you'll see that as well.

Conte made Asamoah into a LW, that's not his natural position.

Or perhaps central midfield was not his natural position and Conte found it for him! ;)

He doesn't have the characteristics of a winger so... no.
