They are not playmakers. Mexico's attacking game in the last six months has been incredibly predictable, relying too much on the wings and with no one to actually take a moment and bring down the game's tempo. It's no coincidence that every goal the team has made when both strikers play has been scored in the second half, almost in the dying minutes of the match, a byproduct of the opposing defenders getting mentally and physically exhausted.

I too dont like playing with 2 strikers. Cheech is the definite starter with Oribe being his backup. Gio and Fabian should definitely be ahead of Reyna in the pecking order.

Problem that i see is that we are playing way too slow and are allowing way too much time for the opposition to reorganized their defenses. The team plays the ball from the back slowly and then they move the ball forward timidly and when pressured they pass back instead of attempting a long or medium range pass. I would like to see a little more risk taking from midfield. We need more attacking midfielders because our DM can't pass worth a damn. I don't want to see Aquino start because he is way too defensive.
