I knew that before bothering to check.
This may have been said before, but I'm just glad to see Woolard played a half without any incident.

As far as the other comment about someone with skill on the ball... we've got Pontius, DeRo and Najar on this roster as well.

Sounds like he will fit right into the DC system!

Hate to get off on the negative before the season even starts. But normally by this point very excited to see how the new additions and changes work. To be honest though, I'm very under-whelmed with the moves and acquisitions. And with Pajoy looking to be "our guy", well, travel $$$ probably going to slide to some other sports this year. Planning on Columbus and 1 trip to NY or Philly, probably do it for DC Road trips this year.

Does anyone know where I can find a roster that contains the numbers for the players that played the second half?

I guess that's nice. I was hoping at least one would be during working hours so I could watch it. Oh well, I'll keep up on twitter like usual. The twitter play-by-play guy was in serious pre-season-form for the CumBlowUs scrimmage last week, I hope he's much better for these games.

Richter always starts all our preseason games with the A team. He did this on his trial last year too.

Not sure if it means anything ...

Last year it meant he got to play in Charleston. Not a bad deal, but I 'm sure he wants to play in a crappy MLS city instead anyway :D

I have yet to see the camera move far enough to have to show the goal we're shooting at. It seems mostly to be pointing on our defensive side of the field. Boo.

Pajoy lighting it up yet again I see. I'm sure he ran back and forth at the defenders with great skill. We lost - Salihi, Bosko, Najar, Long Tan, Maicon Santos (all offense) and picked up some dude from Chivas, an Indonesian youth player, and some draft picks. We are going to suck the great sucking this year.

    Peace.

with that lineup, i can't imagine the possession ball going well.

Just saw the DC twitter guy typing I think.. lets see what he has to say.

    D.C. United Matchday@DCUmatchday
64': #DCU continuing to pressure for the equalizer here in the second half. The squad has had much of the possession in the 2nd half

hmmmm interesting. goes against what we have noticed in this slideshow.

I thought so too - granted my feed is bad but it barely looks like possession - I saw us dribble up the left side twice and have several throw-ins there, but have yet to see a cross - I have seen our defenders with the ball, perhaps that's what he means by possession.

    * I am not watching it 100% of the time

75': GOAL #DCU! Nane ties it up after he rises above the rest on the corner and heads it powerfully past the keeper
