If we can't win Noveski will score in his own net... trust me He is the king record holder of own goals in Germany.
At this point, I just hope the old man hasn't completely lost his own common sense and starts Gomez over fake Mario in the CL. Otherwise Gomez won't take over his place in the league unless he scores 3 goals per game, as that might be slightly more important than running around a lot and playing defender at the top of the attack.
Is this game going to be as tough as they are making it out to be from the Bayern site? It seems we don't have the best record against them at their home?
The last matches in Mainz: 11/12 27.11.11 - Mainz 05 - Bayern München 3:2 2 goals from van Buyten after set-pieces (Assists: 2x Kroos) 10/11 19.02.11 - Mainz 05 - Bayern München 1:3 Schweinsteiger, Müller and Gomez (Assists: Robben 2x, Müller) 09/10 22.08.09 - Mainz 05 - Bayern München 2:1 own goal of Noveski with Müller assisting - but that match really ain't relevant. Was one of the first matches of van Gaal. The offense was starting with Klose behind Gomez and Pranjic and Altintop while Schweini and Tymo were the central midfielders... Last seven matches (home and away): 3 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses -------------- Probably will get a very tactical match in which we have to be careful and maybe wait - and make no mistakes.
this one will be a very hard match, Mainz plays good football with Tomas Tuchel, I wished him als Bayern trainer......anyway we gotta fight 4 ourselves and try to win and please God play a decent game after sucking all the season long.......
19 games: 15 wins, 3 draws, 1 loss (and a very undeserved loss) ... Best attack of the BL with 48 gols ... Best defence in EUROPE with only 7 conceded ... Qualified in the 1st spot of the CL group with 4w 1d 1l ... Yeah, We've been Sucking soooooooooooooooo Bad so far !!
Somehow the tough away matches this year have all gone very well. HSV, Freiburg - even Düsseldorf was called one as they only had 2 goals against at home until we gave them five. And we have the patience now we did not have last year. Not running around like chicken without head when we did not score away soon...
did u watch our last game with Greuther and Stuttgart? We sucked like we sucked in other games......we won only cause luck sometimes
Jupp is all about taking the three points, even he would play three DM just to keep the result of 1:0 and 2:0, you should wait for Pep for good football and winning.
Right now it is about harvesting that what we have sown and away matches at the beginning of the second part of the season are no matches in which beautiful football is the most important - it is simply the result.
Hence the reason all us idiots are not qualified to judge. Dona just stated perfectly - isn't about anything but results. Aside from a locker room cancer developing, what does Jupp have to be concerned with regarding any one players playing time? Nothing, as this is his last go at it. It will all be someone else's job to sort out in 6 months time. I personally like this focus of Jupp's - it shows he has learned from some past mistakes and holding himself accountable.
Neuer - Lahm, van Buyten, Dante, Alaba - Martínez, Schweinsteiger - Müller, Kroos, Ribéry - Mandzukić. i expect high pressing from Mainz. No room for mistakes they can easily punish us
Most probable substitution. Tymo ----> <----- Kroos After we are gonna lead 1:0 75th minute. Gomez in 91st minute, Robben 93rd.
