Italy got lucky in 2006 nothing else.
Top Players started to not come(although I beg to differ...Ronaldinho came,so did Eto'o but you know) cuz Serie A was going towards a steady decline while the EPL started to rise its really as simple as that.
When Serie A was on top everyone wanted to come in Serie A.And in the early 90's Italy did well in International Tournaments...only lost in 1994 cuz it was Brazil.

AC Milan got docked points for cheating too. Can you admit that?

It's actually not as simple as that, and especially since most Serie A teams carry less debt than the big teams in Liga an the EPL. To try and simplify the situation is an effect of having a simplistic understanding of it.

So you just negated your own argument? Lol

EPL was on the rise before 2006, FYI, and this year starts their decline.

Italy went to two Euro finals after the 90's too ;) ... You know, during the "decline" era...

Here's an example of why having simpleton, black and white conclusions, are often wrong.

Italy won the World Cup in 1982. That was 2 years after a complete ban on foreigners from 1966-1980.

Italy also won a Euro and went to another World Cup final in that time. So good luck giving all the credit to Italy's international successes to foreigners in the league ;)

They just said on Rai Sport that with Balotelli's arrival at Milan, interest in the Serie A has gone up 45%. Guess that is a good thing.

I've been told by some Polish soccer fans that this Wolski guy we got is supposed to be the most highly-touted Polish prospect ever. I don't follow Polish soccer enough to know how big a deal that is but it's something.

Between residing in California and France, he would not be able to keep any of it anyway.

His salary means nothing anyway. He makes more breathing and making underwear ads as opposed to what his club pays him.

lol, oops whoosh, Falc well that went over my head...nice one, but then if the season concludes in black and white, yet another reason why black and white thinking is wrong. Though that's going to be mighty tough to do with Juve having stallions in Pirlo and Conte leading them. Maybe if the donkeys can play like a bunch of thoroughbreds, we can add some color :)
