I figured it out...I'm bilingual and my ear is expecting them to switch into Spanish any minute and when it does;t come I get annoyed...true story.
Fabian scored a goal and so did Denmark. Salcido shot.... and missed a couple of times. Also... Arce. Here's a video of Maza's and Denigris's movement.... @ 1:20
If I were watching tape with the boys after the match, I would point out how little the players move away from the ball in final third. They all stood around and ball watched.
I think the standout of the match was the commentator, and ESPN. So glad they are on that channel now, I'm done with UNIvaleVERRRRRRRRRRRR.

If it was anyone's failure to earn a spot, I would say that was Aguilar's this game. Salcido had another bad game, but oh well, he does bring leadership in the middle. Best plays involved DeNigris, Reyna more than half the times. Herrera and Aquino did well, as did Fabian, didn't see enough of Molina. Overall defense was not very good. Arce was unnoticeable, nothing good or bad to say about either keeper. Kudos to Denmark for being so organized and disciplined, they played with a lot of hustle. /p
herrera, aquino, fabian everyone else sucked. I fking hate salcido's long shots. And nilo didn't do shit going forward i'd rather play guardado at lb he's more of a threat and has done good defensively. rb is where we got no1 good enough rite now.
Bad game and bad result. The most worrisome is the bad game from some players who appear to be starters or A team players. Salcido was shit. Maza to me was the most worrisome. Also Denigris has just been sucking for a while. It's on him how he just can never been in place for the final pass. Oribe also didn't looked great but I would have liked to have seen him in the 2nd half. The worst thing to me is that I expected the team to be better especially since we have been playing since January as opposed to others. Denmark did better than what people expected. Aquino, Herrera and others looked well. I think Reyes and Mier have to be taken into account more especially for the Peru game. I can see them not playing this friendly because you have to take the team as close as you can for the Jamaica game but not in that game. Also some people are just MFL players. It's great how Arce has done for Tijuana but it's always going to be the same thing with him.
I feel like I'm "spazzing" out here with the following rant, but here it is anyway. Normally I like to have experienced players in the mid-field, but Salcido has been horrendous for a while now. I just hope that Chepo isn't too stubborn to keep Salcido as a starter once Zavala and Chaton are available to accompany Herrera. Paul Aguilar and Arce should not be called up anymore – although Arce was actually not bad today– they belong to an earlier generation of Mexican players that were less dynamic (for the most part). Maza made a few mistakes, but over the last few years he has been solid so I am not going to make a judgement based on this friendly game. Same goes for Ayala. I agree with the lot of you who argue that the team plays best when there is only one forward. When we play with a 4-4-2, the LB and RB play a primarily defensive roles and offer very little up front. It may just be coincidental, but when there are two forwards it makes the team more static and predictable. Not everything was negative. The Olympians are getting some playing time and some of them seem to be ready to contribute. Lets also not forget that Chepo's teams normally do well when he has time to work with the players for more than a few days.
