Crew Preseason Games

Nothing much to comment on thus far.

Meram lofted a nice ball to Eddie on the backpost, but it was a bit to high to get a good shot. Viana whiffed on a tackle that turned into a decent shot on goal, but Lamps was there to cover.

 

Oh, I understand that grump, believe me. Tchani's not high on my list. But it's a new season.

 

Gaven looks to be playing centrally. Tchani on the right. Meram on the left.

 

Gaven with a nice through ball but Finley is just offside.

 

Tchani and Gaven have seemed to switch positions. Hard to tell with my video skipping every five seconds.

 

Meram with some nice moves to beat his defender and put in a good cross. Cleared out before it can find anyone on the Crew.

 

Higuain with a nice set piece in the attacking third. Someone puts a head on it but it bounces in front of the goal before being sent out.

 

Gaven taken out by the keeper in the box. Ref points to the spot. Keeper gets a yellow.

 

Higuain converts.

1-0 Crew.

 

And my stream craps out.

 

We are badass from the penalty spot this preseason!

 

Damn! Missed it.

 

Marshall with a good tackle to stop a Chicago buildup.

 

Rolfe puts Lindpere through but Lamps gets there just in time to smother the ball.

 

The passing has been sloppy on both sides. A lot of simple passes are being missed.

 

Marshall down in the 18. May have been injured. Nope, he's back up.

 

Wells-Thompson with a tough tackle on Viana. Thompson gets a yellow. Viana with a bit of a limp.

 

So pleasing to hear that we're gonna get eaten alive in the center again

 

Gaven playing centrally again. Marshall looking good in the back.
