Because "cleaning up" the other one seems to take time...

    Galliani: 'Balotelli 99.9%...'
    http://www.football-italia DOT net/29962/galliani-balotelli-999

Adriano Galliani left the door open for Mario Balotelli to Milan. “Kaka and Didier Drogba are 101% not coming. Balotelli is 99.9%...”

The Rossoneri Vice-President spoke of their transfer strategy in the final days of the January window and can’t bring himself to let go of the Manchester City striker.

“Kaka and Drogba are 101% not coming to Milan. Balotelli? He is 99.9%...” smiled Galliani.

Milan are still determined to bring Balotelli in on loan for six months with an option to buy, although the Eastlands club are adamant he won’t be leaving for less than £24m.

It had been reported the Rossoneri would sell Ignazio Abate and Luca Antonini to Zenit in order to raise funds.

“Abate and Antonini are staying. Their agent was in Russia to see through Salvatore Bocchetti’s transfer to Spartak Moscow, that is all.”

Meanwhile, Milan have officially bought half of Kevin Constant’s contract from Genoa in exchange for their 50 per cent of Francesco Acerbi, who had been in a co-ownership deal.

Cristian Zaccardo arrived from Parma in a straight swap with Djamel Mesbah, while Rodney Strasser joined the Tardini side on loan.

Kaka, it's over now...Balo, some other time ;) but..let's see if City caves....

you can't trust a word that galliani says to the media. when he says drogba and kaka are definitely off, he really means we're still going to try really hard to sign them.

At least he is leaving a .1% chance for Balotelli. Good thing we kept hold of Nocerino. Guy can do pretty much everything and tough as nails. Future Capt. maybe?

Good energy and assertive, which are characteristics of a good leader!

    With Galliani a .1% chance = high probability :)

Nocerino is kinda like my Claude Lemieux, one of my favorites, not the best guy on the team or at his position, but tough as nails, comes through when needed, will do what it takes to help the team, and has a nice beard, which is always a plus.

Lol, the Rangers. Claude was a winner. Where he went the cup followed him, four times. Was even a winner outside the NHL. Just like Nocerino will be in time.

Always liked Antonio Nocerino, such a sexy player cause he's napolitano, a honest player, deserves more respect, why dont the milan supporters give him more respect?

Most do, but some don't like him for whatever reason. It's not like Milan has awesome players these days anyway. Nocerino is not a natural goal scorer, but he has good tenacity and aggression and that can motivate a team when energy is down. Anyway, he's the least of Milan's problems...it's the junk on the left side of the pitch and in the middle of defense that's the real problem. Milan also needs to replace Ambrosini.

Except he isn't,he's a pussy and he never comes through.
He tries as much as he can...that much I can't deny but he's a pussy, has no footballing brain, and doesn't have the required quality to start or be in the bench of Milan.Seriously I'd rather let some of our youngsters sit in our Bench rather then him

Lol at what we have been reduced.Fans now even think Nocerino is Captain Material...SMH [IMG]
When I see Nocerino I don't think "Captain" [IMG]...no no...a more fitting term would be "FODDER" [IMG]

Are you guys really close to getting Castillo, or is that just a smoke screen?

I've seen him play several times and I'm actually quite high on him. He's a technical striker who can score and distribute. He's a lot like Ibra in that regard, but Castillo can do it on the big stage in the big matches and won't be invisible in those matches the way that Zlatan was.

Zlatan...how many times I wished he was going to finally show up in the CL, especially last year vs Bartha, but nada...instead Nocerino had to do his job, SMH!!!

Have not heard of Milan being linked with Castillo and haven't seen much of him, but have heard good things and if he's truly not a big game choker then bring him on!!

Just in; La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Milan have presented “a serious €20m offer” to Manchester City for Mario Balotelli.

So....who's going to play left back?

Best LB available who immediately comes to mind is, of course, Davide Santon.

Ibra doesn't disappear. He plays well in Big Games,His style just doesn't fit with Modern Football...that's why he struggles in Big Games in UCL(mostly).Had Ibra played in a different time period he'd have won the European Cup already.
It's a similar case to how Classic 10's struggle in Modern Football nowadays and that's why there's so few of them IMO

If Ibra was really that GOOD, he would be able to adapt to all types of scenarios

{DELETED}. He's very talented but he's sort of an old style player.
And Ibra never really had a chance in UCL with a great team apart from Barca which didn't use him well at all.Ibra has won more Scudettis then Napoli in their History lmao
Yet people still bash him even though there's millions of good players out there who haven't won anything at all.
The way Ibra plays doesn't fit with Modern Football you can see it when you see him play he's not like your typical striker he never rushes likes to come back and playmake and shit, and he probably doesn't really wanna change his style.

Ibra is obviously very talented and could very possibly be the last missing piece to some club's puzzle.

That puzzle, though, would obviously involve scoring the 4th and 5th goals of a 5-1 home win over Novara or Treviso.
