The coming fixtures decide this puppy.

Chile - Uruguay: I think Chile can do it. Uruguay has lost steam, today they looked tired. There is a certain lack of creativity in the middle. They can compensate some when they have spaces, though, and Chile often does that. Those red cards Chileans keep getting is because of the big spaces left at the back, when one of them must retreat fast and stop the counter at any price. My bet is that Chile wins this, in a close shave. 2-1 or so.

Peru - Colombia: Peruvian teams get tired fast. As the tournament advances, we'll see less and less running, and the stamina in each game starts running low. Colombia is the opposite: some of the fastest, biggest players, who still haven't been pushed to the limit. Colombia is on the way up, Peru on the way up. Probably one of those games that Peru starts winning, only to get tired and end up losing. My bet is a Colombian win, 3-1.

Paraguay - Ecuador: This is it. The game that decides how good Paraguay really is. They are South America's France: able to beat Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, and then losing to Peru, Venezuela and Bolivia. France is just like that, beating Germany or Spain and then losing to Belarus or Finland. I have no idea how this one is going to go. Bet Ecuador dominated the first half, with the fast runners they got. If they score a goal early, then I don't see Paraguay winning. I'm thinking a 1-1 tie.

Quizas Uruguay Argentina y Brazil tienen mas historia pero thats about it...

I don´t agree, although a closer look would be necessary. Most, if not all our red are because of some stupid thing, like yesterdays.

I seriously think FIFA should give Chile a stern lecture before the Youth World Cup (assuming they qualify).

The amount of cards they are earning is just plain unsportsmanlike. Don't want to see any of that in Turkey.

    Chile, fair play champions.

For us at least, the results were great. Uruguay losing means its still up to us to go for first.

Paraguay barely tied with peru, otherwise they would of been a 4 way tie.

Honestamente...

It has been confirmed: Max Barrios and Juan Espinoza are one and the same.

In the province of Sullana, the administrative section of the area anulled his birth certificate due to the amount of irregularities they found in their own investigation,

Of course, the FPF claims that this is "very common" and they "had no idea"....

well if it's 'very common', you would've thought the crooks in this story (whoever those are?) would have gone "big" and gone to Brasil or Argentina instead of Ecuador?

No way, as bad as Brasil was. Bolivia had 15 goals scored on them in 4 games.

At least the Bolivians had a plan. They lacked ability. Brazil lacked both. Brazil would have got murdered in Group A.

More into this, apparently he was recognized by his former teammate and the Ecuadorian coach when he went to celebrate with his teammates on the field after beating Brasil...

...stupid fool, he should have stayed at the bench. :ROFLMAO:

This had to be the worst Brazil team to set foot on a pitch at any level in decades.

I don't know if they would have gotten murdered but they probably would have done the same as Argentina.

Of course they had no idea.

You think they're going to risk getting a World Cup ban (yeah, yeah, yeah, Peru never makes it anyway- you get the point) so they can get a dude who couldn't hack it in the Ecuadorian league to play on a youth team?? C'mon.

Even if he was the next Messi it wouldn't be worth it. If he was a great player but was too old for the U-20s, you wouldn't forge a birth certificate, you'd just put him in the regular NT.

The only reason this guy got onto Aurich and the NT was because everyone thought he was 17 and would grow up to be a great player. His level for a 25-year-old is crap.

Wow...this keeps getting better and better...

Max, Juan...whatever his name is...he apparently also spent time in jail in Ecuador and was, and is, actually out on bail after being involved in a shootout at a club in Ecuador...

And his brother, Luis, has also committed identity forgery. However, his case is far more blatant than Max/Juan
