Code: "Why was there duct tape in the classroom? How did they [the students] come to have access to it," said Haas. "We'll have these answers to these questions later. You'd think by the tone of the questions that she had a gun in the classroom
Hysterical overreaction is now regarded as prudent concern. It all comes from lawyers and Nancy Reagan, the two forces that changed this country from being one that exercised common sense to one that burns people at the stake as a precautionary measure.
Remember only you can prevent wildfires. Please check the National Weather Service for Red Flag warnings before you burn someone at the stake.
yeah just having duct tape means that you are considered a witch...we have apparently reverted back to Salem where reality didn't mean diddley
In 1971, my father taught high school in New Zealand for a year. It wasn't a very academic high school, a country school. Most of the kids didn't pay much attention. One of them particularly annoyed his teacher (not my dad), he was even more dreamy than most, and he would fool around with his guitar sometimes during class. The teacher finally lost his temper, gave the kid the back of his hand across the face, the teacher's ring caught on the skin, and he ripped a gash across the boys face that took 20 stitches to fix. Blood everywhere. The teacher apologized to the kid, apologized to the parents, the parents said no problem these things happen, and that was that. You can say New Zealand in 1971 was backwards and the U.S. in 2013 is advanced. On the other hand, I don't remember any kids being shot in 1971 New Zealand, in fact I'm certain it never happened. Whereas in Chicago alone it happens every week, sometimes multiple times. So I wouldn't be too much in a rush to point a finger.
Duct tape rights advocates are right. The only way to stop a bad person with duct tape is to have more and stickier duct tape than he does. That's how they do it in Canada.
I have not run into that show lately; some of the stuff they do, especially fixing stuff (often involving duct tape), is ridiculously funny - or funnily ridiculous as the case may be.
I ran into it one late night on my local PBS station. it might have been new years eve. I was pretty well wasted, and it was even funnier than usual. good times...
Clearly, that idiot is not aware of two important facts: (1) the stupid schools require kids to use these cheap ass folders to bring stuff home every day, then make them put more in them than they were ever designed to hold, thus requiring duct-tape repairs every two weeks or so; and (2) duct tape is now offered in technicolor - how can kids resist?
You're confusing "America" with "Chicago". Your political opposition will be quick to point that out, but in different words. Does duct tape float?
In the 2011-2012 school year, 319 Chicago Public School children were shot. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/...cps-students-students-shot-safe-haven-program
No, you don't understand. Mainstream "real" Romney/Reagan/Bush America doesn't care how many kids get shot in Chicago or South Central or SW Atlanta or Newark. Stats on those places, to them, are indicative of what "those people" are and deserve. I know Chicago's diverse, but we're not talking about names that begin with "O' " or end with "ski" here.
well hope that text was worth it... http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blo...boyfriend-163728735--abc-news-topstories.html
