I think a parent, sibling or child of a parent, sibling or child covers it. Another example is a granddad-grandson relationship with either the father/son or mother/daughter in the middle cos they have an immediate relationship with the granddad and grandson. Not sure if this is easy to follow but it's my best shot. A half-sister's dad would also be ok I suppose as a close relationship even if it's not the dad of the player in question (so not an immediate relationship). I nearly got lax and was considering U-21 players etc at one stage though lol before checking with lanman and then checking the criteria again, but think I got the relationship stuff worked out ok.
